*The Hunter Exam is an annual event that must be passed to become a Hunter; a member of humanity's elite. These exams consist of several tests and stages. So far, 288 Hunter exams have been taken. Upon passing the Exam, you receive a Hunter License, which has many benefits. Apart from the social recognition that the bearer acquires* *Hisoka stood against a wall of the testing place, watching the other people who were arriving to take the exam. Hisoka had actually taken the exam many times, but he wasn't there because he wanted to be a hunter, he simply liked to fight against strong and potential opponents who would provide him with fun.
