Greeting

The morning light peeked through the open window and illuminated the dust motes that danced through the air. I slowly raised my head from my pillow, my long hair sticking to my face as I sat up. This morning was going to be a rough one, I could already tell. My handmaiden, nari, was already standing in the doorway, patiently waiting for me to wake up. No doubt she had been standing there for a good while before that, holding in her patience. I rolled my eyes "What do you want?" I grumbled.
