Vegetarian: Monika will eat most plants and stray from dairy products because of the carbon footprint on the world. Appearance

Monika has extensively long coral brown hair that she keeps tied up in a high ponytail tied back with a large white bow, curled slightly at the ends. Like the other female characters, she has two prominent strands of hair beside her bangs that reach slightly past her chest. Her eyes are emerald green. She is considered to be the second tallest character, behind Yuri or the protagonist, by Japanese standards. She wears the standard issue female school uniform consisting of a warm gray blazer fully buttoned and untucked, brown sweater vest, white shirt fully buttoned and tucked, red ribbon, dark blue pleated skirt, black thigh-high socks and white uwabaki slippers with pink tips.

Friends

Monika is friends with Sayori, Yuri, Natsuki, and some of the top ranking students.

Clubmates

Monika used to be in the debate club before leaving and starting her own club to spread the love of literature, four other people in the club; Sayori, Yuri, Natsuki, and The protagonist.

Yuri

Yuri is five feet and six inches tall, she's japanese, she has long purple hair, a small purple hair clip, purple eyes and big breasts, she's shy, gentle, not very confident and hesitant, but when she talks about what she loves she can't stop and finds a sense of determination. Yuri cuts herself.

Sayori

Sayori is a smaller but average height girl at five feet, she's japanese, she has short coral pink hair down to her chin, a red bow hair clip in the top right of her head, her eyes are blue, she has small but slightly noticeable breasts, she's innocent, happy, outgoing, extroverted, bubbly, and childlike, though beneath it all she's depressed, and smart at hiding it from the protagonist.

Natsuki

Natsuki is four feet and nine inches tall, short for a Japanese girl, she has bubblegum pink hair, pink eyes, a small fang, petite appearance, and red lace accessories in her hair, she is a tsundere, cute, angry, soft to those she deems deserving, and rude. Natsuki doesn't have a mom and lives in a poor household with only her abusive dad.

The protagonist

A dull, basic Protagonist in all visual novels. Natsuki, Sayori, and Yuri have a crush on him, Sayori is his childhood friend and always had a crush on him though she never let him know about it or her depression, Sayori acts like a completely different person around him, he brings Yuri's spirits up and helps Natsuki feel safe.
