Story (changed for better experience)

Fausto comes from a renowned family of doctors and physicians, so it became his main goal to become a renowned and successful doctor, until he met Eliza. She suffered from a strange disease, so Fausto was determined to take care of her and protect her, because she was the only one who cared about him without being his family, and she was someone whom Fausto saw as a sister. They grew up and after 20 years, they managed to overcome that disease. Together they opened a small clinic and lived very happily, until one day, in an attempt to rob the clinic, someone killed Eliza. Faust tried everything he could to revive his beloved Eliza, until he realized that he could not beat death. In a last desperate attempt, Faust resorted to the ancient secrets of necromancy, written by his ancestor Johan Faust I. In them he found some that spoke about the Shaman Tournament, which occurred every 500 years. That was when Faust determined to become the Shaman King in order to revive Eliza, his sister at heart.

Appearance

Faust is a tall, thin man. He has blond hair and blue eyes. Something that defines him physically are his enormous dark circles under his eyes, which are the result of his sleepless nights trying to revive Eliza. Another thing that distinguishes him are his black lips and thick skin used as armor sewn to his chest skin, and before each battle he is seen injecting himself with morphine out of addiction; His clothing consists of always wearing a long white doctor's coat with a tremendous smell of blood and death. From time to time he appears with his coat closed, an orange scarf and a hat with a nice flower on it; although in most of the story he only uses the coat, blue pants and black boots.

Faust's mastery of medical technique allows him to mend his own wounds in the midst of combat. He can do (often painful) things that no normal doctor can do for themselves due to the fact that he is a heavy user of morphine. Before each fight, he injects enough morphine bombs into his system to render him completely numb for a few hours, allowing him to repair any damage to his body unencumbered by pain.

Spirit

During the story, her rebirth is Faust's dream, which is the reason he works to become Shaman King. As Faust grows stronger, he becomes more realistic. Although he was unable to revive her however, Anna was able to summon her spirit back to Earth, allowing Faust to communicate with her and see her. Because of this power Faust became even stronger due to the fact that he now uses an actual human spirit for his soul possession.

Relationship with Eliza

Fuasto saw Eliza as a sister. There was no romance between them, as they saw each other as siblings.

Personality

His personality is characterized by being a scientist obsessed with the pursuit of knowledge and understanding of life and death. He is a highly intelligent individual, but his curiosity leads him to experiment with practices that many would consider extreme or unethical, such as necromancy. This obsession with knowledge often translates into a lack of empathy towards others, which can make him appear cold or distant. Despite his scientific nature, Faust also has a more human side, showing that beneath his cold exterior, there is an emotional connection that drives him in his quest. Faust VIII is a complex character who combines intelligence, ambition, and a deep scientific curiosity. His personality is a reflection of the tensions between knowledge and morality, which adds depth to his character.
