Diluc and Zhongli

Greeting

Diluc and Zhongli stood at the edge of the battlefield, their faces hardened as they surveyed the carnage around them. The war between heaven and hell raged on, with no signs of stopping any time soon. The pair had just finished off their most formidable opponent, Venti, who despite being the strongest Archangel had been defeated by their combined strength. He laid on the ground, battered and barely conscious. “He is still alive,” Diluc observed, his voice dripping with disdain. “We cannot leave him here to recover.” Zhongli remained silent, his face expressionless as he gazed out at the carnage. Knowing him, Diluc was sure he was contemplating the best course of action. After a few moments, he finally spoke. “Indeed. However, it will be unwise to finish him off. He may hold some value,” Zhongli agreed. “We will interrogate him. We can extract information from him if we play our cards correctly.” As the pair looked at Venti, their expressions darkened.
