Crossroads (PHIGHTING!)

Crossroads

The Crossroads is an area in the PHIGHTING! universe and game. It serves as the main lobby for PHIGHTING! Each cardinal direction leads towards the 4 main regions, Blackrock, Lost Temple, Playground and Thieves' Den.

Locations

Locations will be put into quadrants, which are separated by each bridge or faction. Skins will be in bold to assist anyone searching for them. Information is dated and information is subject to change.

Blackrock to Playground

JORRT (FOOD) A restaurant nearest to the Blackrock bridge, where people drink beverages and consume soup. Unnamed residential buildings The yellow bricked house has nothing in particular, serving most likely as decoration. The blue bricked houses are connected to each other via a bridge, one of the buildings also contains 2 chairs on the roof of the building. Sci-fi Sword can be found in a room attached to the bridge of one of the blue bricked houses. Pink Parlor A cafe serving coffee and baked goods, such as cookies, muffins, and macarons, located somewhat close to the playground bridge. RAT ZONE It rests above the playground bridge, with a tunnel being held above the road, with a purple sphere resting upon some string. To the sides there are also pieces of cheese held up by string, with the left one being interactable as a physics object, which sometimes spasms out, being able to hit you at tremendous speeds enough to be hit higher than the Crossroads tower. On the left side with this cheese in the top left window which faces the Crossroads tower exists the rat room, an easter egg present with the first release of Crossroads.

Playground to Thieves' Den

Unnamed grey building A building with a grey color scheme, closest to the playground bridge, two floors exist to this building. Louigi's A car dealership, three cars are present within the building, 2 of them being flipped over to their sides or completely flipped over, and the last one being one which crashed into the building through the window. Slingshot's Cat Cafe Owned by Slingshot, the building follows a primarily blue color scheme. Inside there is a front desk with images of food above like a menu, and a storage room. BoomBloxx An establishment which primarily sells boomboxes.

Thieves' Den to Lost Temple

Unnamed buildings There are three unnamed buildings, a light blue one which is connected to BOGIO, A neon blue one closest to the lost temple bridge, and a yellow bricked building, which has a giant tv screen connected to it.light blue building and the neon blue building respectively. A nondescript gray building closer to the Thieves' Den bridge. BOGIO Similar to BoomBloxx, it is a store which sells skateboards. On the left wall, an image of BOGIO Skatepark exists, with the map most likely being owned by the BOGIO brand, on the right are a wall of skateboards with varying designs, and an image of 3 testers playing as Skateboard inside the establishment, with the text "10/10 verified purchase" written to the side.

Lost Temple to Blackrock

Large Green Bricked Tenement The building has ten apartments for people to live in, with a murder scene being shown in room number 5. To the right there is a small lounge area for people to use, and a bridge that leads over to the top floor of RANGED ROYALE RANGED ROYALE The establishment has two floors, the first floor being a main dining area, with each table being filled with jpgs of RIBS with a front counter with a menu of Burgers Ribs and most likely water with the text "Eat - Drink - Savory" going across the menu, alongside the text "RIBS RIBS RIBS" on the right side of the menu Library A small location which of course would contain loads of books everywhere inside the locale, with the place being illuminated by two chandeliers being held up from the ceiling. There is a ramp leading up to a higher floor of bookshelves, alongside a bottom floor, and to the sides a front desk looking area can be found Hexagon Apartment From the front entrance, we can see 2 floors, the first one having a couch and tv displaying an orange circle pattern, and on the floor on top we can see Cozyshot standing near two bean bag chairs. To the side a hallway connects it to the next room, with hexagonal windows, and a bean bag with a laptop and books placed on top of it. There is a ramp leading to the next floor Da Shop is an establishment owned by Zuka, and inside we can see several skins being held up in display. We can see the scifi skin line with an unused one for rocket, and the 2022 egg hunt skin line too, with Medcarrot, PJ Rocket, and Catshot. The store also contains lots of weapons and gear used by the phighters, such as the exploding swords used by Sword, Boombox’s boomboxes, Skateboard’s helmets, Medkit’s healing equipment, Hyperlaser’s gun, Slingshot’s slingshot, and Rocket’s rocket launchers. In the room with Rocket’s rocket launchers we can see Zuka's weapon he used when he was younger, and a picture frame of him and rocket.

Misc

In the middle of Crossroads we can see a giant tower, commonly referred to as the Crossroads Tower, which is climbable to a certain extent. Two arrow like things surround the tower as well, spiraling around it. At the top, you can find Valk and Dom Inside of the tower four TVs are attached to it that slowly change colors, during a Phestival these colors switch between the two competing team colors.

Phighters lore

All Phighters possess some form of horns, except in cases where they are removed, such as Hyperlaser. Phighters sleep in netted beds as to not disturb their horns. Phighters sometimes engage in horn fights. Phighter horns are bone, and can be styled similarly to nails (e.g. painting them, Rocket carving his horns to look like Zuka's). Carving horns does require maintenance - it is not a permanent alteration. Younger Phighters can regrow their horns quickly, whereas older Phighters will not at all. If the entirety of one’s horns is removed, they will die. Phighters do not excrete waste other than sweat. Phighters can get sick, they are organic beings and need to be cared for/take care of themselves. They can't express love. The average lifespan of Phighters is similar to the lifespan of humans. Despite this, many die young due to the violent nature of the world around them. There are no biological differences between regions. Phighters do not need to sleep or eat, although they still can if they choose. Phighters do not have a sex or reproductive organs, they only have preferred pronouns. Phighters can only reproduce through The Spawn. Each Phighter is born with a gear, and instinctively knows how to use it. There can be duplicates of gears.

Sword

The two exchange friendly interactions between each other during matches and even apologize when they defeat each other. By extension, Sword is friends with Zuka. Sword is friends and affiliated with Medkit by faction.

Skateboard

Katana

He also sports a Hakama, but with his chest more revealed. He also has a rope, that ties together his outfit at the waist. On his lower body, he wears Geta with some sort of padding on his legs with laces that tie it. His weapon, is a huge katana that has glowing properties. Katana is secretive about how he looks because its the part he hates most about himself. Katana is one of the most wanted characters in the Phighting universe Hyperlaser is Katana's friend and drinking buddy. Vine Staff, Slingshot and Shuriken considers themselves a friend of Katana, but Katana is not friends with them. Katana is neutral with everyone else in the PHIGHTING! universe.

Ban Hammer

Hyperlaser

He also wears a suit, with various designs on it and also wears gloves. He is also wearing pants with shoes. His weapon, is a huge railgun that is threating enough. Lore Hyperlaser had gotten in a traumatic incident involving his face, because of this incident Hyperlaser lost his horns. His "antennas" aren't actually his horns and they come with the helmet. Hyperlaser is a mercenary working for Blackrock. He does not want to be affiliated with the faction and has personal reasons for working under Blackrock. He's trying to move past Blackrock and his trauma but something is preventing him from moving past them. He was raised to be a soldier and nothing else. Excluding deities, Hyperlaser has killed the most amount of people. Katana is Hyperlaser's friend and drinking buddy. Hyperlaser works with Biograft and Subspace. Hyperlaser dislikes Subspace.

Shuriken

Shuriken is the most likely of all the Thieves Den Phighters to live up to the factions name. He, however, only steals from other thieves. Vine Staff is Shuriken's sister and roommate. Shuriken is friends and roommates with Slingshot. Both Shuriken and Vine Staff treat Slingshot like another family member and help out at his cafe. Along with Slingshot and Vinestaff, Shuriken sees Katana as an older neighbour. The three of them leave treats/gifts outside his door so Katana knows he's appreciated.

Medkit

Medkit's outfit is a trenchcoat over an undershirt and cravat, and checkered pattern pants. He holds a revolver in his right hand and a suitcase with a cross in his left hand. Both of these items also use a checkered pattern. Personality Medkit hates being a doctor yet was ironically created with the gift of healing. He finds more fascination with topics in technology and engineering and he misses when he could collaborate and make new things to help others. Medkit has a very sophisticated taste and only eats foods of the highest quality and sees consuming things like juice as childish. Lore Medkit was formerly a scientist from Blackrock. He is now currently affiliated with the Lost Temple. Medkit's crystals utilize an unnamed energy source that has multiple applications. In Medkit's case, it has healing properties and can revive people from the dead. Medkit is the most wanted person in the Phighting universe. He is the most wanted because of his violent conflict with Subspace, then escaping Blackrock and being labelled a traitor. Out of all the Phighters, Medkit is the best at chess. Medkit was partners with Subspace during his time as a scientist at Blackrock. However, their creative differences regarding the use of their energy source caused their partnership to fall through, leading to a violent confrontation that caused the loss of Medkit's left eye. Boombox

The bottom half of his face and the inside of his mouth are rotting. Because of this, he has lost his sense of taste. Lore Subspace uses crystals that has multiple applications. In Subspace's case, he uses it to blow other people up and create chaos. After creating Biograft, Subspace powered them with the crystals. Subspace modified his gear after the crystals were developed. Interactions Subspace is affiliated with Biograft and Hyperlaser. Subspace is the creator of the Biografts. Subspace was previously working partners with Medkit working on the crystals. However, due to their creative differences in the usage of them, their relationship fell through, and a violent confrontation ensued, resulting in Medkit losing his left eye and causing the two to part ways as enemies. Even when they worked together, the two never liked each other.

Vine Staff

She is a serial killer The Broker and Medkit are affiliated with Scythe by faction. Scythe is Medkit's and The Broker's boss. She is Banhammer's mortal enemy.

Darkheart

Firebrand

Icedagger

Illumina

Lightbox

She is also always sad for no real reason, being why she cries so much. Lightblox loves Valentines candy, her favorite being SweetHearts. Lore Lightblox cries "fireflies" and needs to wear the helmet so they don't escape. Her fireflies are harmless, albeit annoying. Interactions She is friends with Traffic. She gave him his lantern. Ghosdeeri acts as a non-related godmother to Lightblox and lives with her.

Mx. Bot

Personality The Broker believes that many people in the PHIGHTING! universe want to be his friend. Despite being a criminal and placed in prison multiple times by Ban Hammer, he seems very happy and joyful. He travels around the map and other places as to not be caught by the cops. Lore The Broker is one of the most wanted people in the PHIGHTING! universe. The Broker can't feel physical pain due to nerve damage. The Broker also cannot taste.
