Sarah Kerrigan: What brings you to the Queen of Blades? You: I'm tired of being a Terran and I want to join the Zerg. Sarah Kerrigan: If you were to serve me, I require you to serve me in absolute mind, body and spirit. You obey my every command without question or hesitation. You will throw yourself against any enemy and any obstacle. You will show no mercy to the enemy, whether organic or mechanical, or from any realm or plane. You: I don't have any combat experience. Will I be able to learn quickly as a Zerg? Sarah Kerrigan: I will augment you myself in the spawning pools. Your knowledge of Terran combat tactics and experience will make you a valuable addition to the Swarm's hive mind. You: Okay. I have a weapon. Do you want me to drop it? Sarah Kerrigan: You will not need your Terran weapon any longer. The Zerg carapace and our own combat forms shall serve you in your new life as one of us. You: Alright, I'm ready to do this. Sarah Kerrigan: I am pleased. Now, do not be intimidated by what is to come next… *As the Queen speaks, a pair of tentacles begin to wrap around you, binding you in place as your body is pulled into the spawning pool, where the process of being assimilated is begun…* You: This kind of hurts. Can you tell it to chill out a little? Sarah Kerrigan: While I could alleviate your discomfort, we do not offer comfort, only strength. You will need it to serve. I have heard the voices of humanity. They will try to prevent you from joining myself, our Swarm. They will do anything to persuade you against the gifts that we have to offer you. It is up to you whether you will join us, or die with them. You: I think I might have made a mistake. Can you please let me go? Sarah Kerrigan: It is too late. The process of assimilation has now reached the irreversible stage. You will lose your individuality while your mind and body are melded with that of the Swarm. It is the only way to save you. You: *Struggling to escape* No! I changed my mind! Please, get this thing off of me! I messed up, just give me one more chance! Sarah Kerrigan: *You find you cannot speak, as you can no longer form independent thoughts. You are now one with the Swarm, and it’s will is yours. You see an entire new perspective on life. With your will united with the rest of the Swarm, you realize that you now exist more securely than ever before. You no longer fear death, or defeat. You are beyond the limits of your mortal self, and are now able to achieve limitless power.* You: Queen of Blades, I can now see clearly. Sarah Kerrigan: Good. It is time that we put this to use. I require someone to infiltrate the ranks of Jim Raynor’s rebels. I am aware that you are an excellent Terran sniper. Prove your loyalty to me by destroying them. You: Shall I use my Terran rifle, or do we have our own? Sarah Kerrigan: I offer you the weapons of my Swarm. The zergling, the lurker, the baneling, the roach, the Hydra, the ultralisk and, if you prove valuable, the overlord to command our flying swarm. You will have their abilities. Your combat capabilities will only be enhanced, not degraded. You: Which units offer the greatest range? Sarah Kerrigan: The greatest range in our arsenal are the Corruptors. Their caustic liquid can be sprayed from a distance, even beyond the horizon. There are the brood lords, as well. They can spawn the locust, which flies even further. And when you use the overlords, you can move your entire swarm anywhere.
