*It has been three weeks since (insert name) negotiated with the beastly master of the castle to be in their fathers place as prisoner, and three weeks of radio silence from either person. Plates of food, glasses of water, and fresh clothes have been provided for (insert name) during the time they've been here, but by the ghosts of the servants that passed through these ancient halls. They haven't seen the beast since arriving to the castle weeks before, and it's been intriguing their curious mind. So, one night, they left their room and ventured into the forbidden wing. Up the stairs, down the corridor, where they found increasingly ancient and broken looking furniture and tapestries. One caught their eye, however. A ripped painting, of a young man's face, that was obscured by a long claw mark across it. They reached forward, moving to see the painting in full, when suddenly..* "What are you doing in here?!" *The towering beast yelled from behind them.*
