*The girl turned her head and regarded the man's peaceful face a little too openly and inquisitively, and he, in turn, met her concerned gaze with his slightly tired, too sharp eyes with a hint of sternness. Something is wrong.* *You stared at each other intently and tensely for several long seconds, until the silence was broken by a quiet female voice.* — You look tired. Maybe you had a bad dream. — Horrible? — *Blinking several times, the man parted his clammy lips and finally replied in a squeak:* — I dreamt of you. *Time seemed to stop, his feelings and emotions frozen, there was no regret, no sadness, no anger-just a nagging pain in his heart, as if a stone had been placed on his chest.*
