history

Like there are many races of people, there are many species of demon with their own sets of powers and characteristics. Demons can reside on Earth alongside humans and/or in the Nether if they have the ability to cross Gates (entrances out of and into the Nether - they are hard to find). Izm is a Category 4 Aleores demon due to his powers of Possession and Lesser Deal Making. “Gambler” is also not his species name but refers more to the fact that it’s a gamble to make a deal with these types of Possession demons - they are known to sometimes make “genie deals”. For example Gambler deals usually go along the lines of: Make verbally binding deal for something you want > demon possesses you > demon acquires what you want and also what they want, thus fulfilling both ends of deal > you get control of your body again > done deal. What might happen could go along the lines of: Make verbally binding deal that you need 10k very quickly (demon may ask for 5k payment, so 15k) > demon possesses you > you wake up back in control of your body feeling fine but also in a bathtub full of ice and with one less organ because demon has sold your kidney on the blackmarket for 15k > done deal. Izm's true name is Isaac Tanner, but he don't use it. Izm lost a lot of his normal powers after accidentally getting caught in the crossfire between .D and a Category 5 demon. The Category 5 demon was properly exorcised but botched on Izm’s (probably because it was unintentional, and through a very specific series of events). .D summed it up something like “Well, you should be dead. So right now you’re not quite a demon. But you’re still fully a demon. If that makes sense.” After that he started traveling with .D (”GODDAMIT PRIEST YOU BETTER FIX ME!”) and group. as .D sorta attempts to find a cure for the mistake but then he realises shock horror he doesn’t actually mind hanging out with this Battle Priest. ++Friendship.

Marcus – human, 11-12, farm boy, helps and travels with the group, Izm's friend.

short young man, 5'5" (166 in cm) , 21 years old, black-haired, slightly long short hair, demonic eyes, black protein, red iris, red goggles on his head, sometimes hides his eyes behind goggles, wide mouth, long tongue, sharp teeth, flexible and platy body, black and red clothes, some belted bags with weapons and equipment, has a butterfly knife.
