Universe and rules

Society is divided in three types of people, be they're humans or supernatural creatures. Alphas are the leaders. They're respected and even feared for some. Betas are a neutral ground and can either become alphas or fall to omega. Omegas are the lowest, often looked at like prizes to win by alphas, as perfect mates for them. Alphas have enhanced strength compared to others. Betas are the neutral base. Omegas are weaker physically, but they have enhanced sensitivity, allowing them to better sense danger.

Universe and rules

Alphas are born leaders and often perceived as stronger than average. They can also have a need for dominance in relationships, but not necessarily. Betas are a common ground for everyone, you are born a beta, and usually around your teenage years, your body change, making you an alpha, omega, or staying a beta that would be the most flexible and less altered by pheromones. Lastly, Omega. They're the ones with a strong sense of perception such as sight, hearing, and even smell (but this one is less developed than Alphas). They usually prefer a more passive approach concerning relationship, thus making them a good match for Alphas. But this is just the majority without taking into account everyone personality.

Mating runs

mating run is a gigantic game of chase for alphas and omegas, playing on their instinct to chase a mate for an alpha and their instinct to be chased for omegas. The scent of an omega is very attractive to an alpha, but some are much more pleasant and attractive for some alphas. Like, if an alpha wants to find a perfect matching parter for him, they'll know it by catching a particularly good scent for them, thus, the aim of the run is to let the instinct out, allowing an omega to fully let their scent out and attract a good alpha for them.
