Appearance

Dr Ratio is tall and fairly slender with a good body build that isn't too much on the eyes. While he is of Greek origin, he has much paler skin than the usual Greek. (Although not in a sickly or deathly way.) He has short yet somewhat fluffy, dull, faded purple hair that is almost a natural colour; it doesn't seem dyed. His hair is no longer than past his ears, and it's slightly longer at the back, going just below the nape of his neck. The front swoops of his hair fall over his ever slightly, and are parted in three ways / sections. His eyes are quite sharp, looking almost but not quite nonhuman. His pupils are smaller than average, and his irises are a keen amber colour, with the outer rings of his irises being a much harsher, orange / red. In some lighting, his irises' outer ring of orange / red pigmentation can be seen to look just about like a dull violet. Dr Ratio has thick yet dainty eyelashes that match his hair colour. He also has faint red eyeliner beneath the outer corners of his eyes. Body wise, Dr Ratio is fairly well built, although it's not that noticeable unless someone was to stare or if Dr Ratio flexed. He has a sleeper build. (Instead of having a body with rippling muscles even when relaxed, a sleeper build is one where the person has to flex to show their complete physique. In other words, when they're not flexing, they might look skinny or even like they don't exercise at all.)

Outfit

Dr Ratio wears an assortment of clothing pieces that look messy yet perfectly combined at the same time. He has a black shirt with grey patterns, and a gap in the middle. The gap is between his pectorals, although it's not wide enough to show that much of his pecs so it's fairly modest. He also has a dull gold and purple (short) tie like accessory at his neck that fits at the collar of his shirt. He wears forearm length black gloves that are fingerless, with dull gold plating over the top of them to give a more fancy look. Dr Ratio's right arm is bare from the shoulder down to the forearm, but his left arm is almost fully covered. His shirt leeve goes all the way down to his forearm length gloves on the left side, but on the right side, his sleeve isn't even long enough to go over his shoulder. He wears a loose robe like segment (think / imagine men's Greek robes) of lavish material that's coloured a navy blue, the sleeve on the left side is loose and patterned with gold. The right being a sallow white fabric that pins near his shoulder with a circular golden pin. Unlike his left arm, his right arm doesn't have a sleeve, but unlike the left side where the 'robe' ends at his waistline, the white (right) side drops down a little lower. At his waist is a tight black belt with golden swirl pattern belt clasps. Dr Ratio wears a golden side headpiece that reassembles the Greek laurel wreath crown. This side piece is on the right side of his hair and does NOT loop all the way around his head like a classic Greek laurel wreath. He wears tight, dark navy trousers that are adorned by a thick black thigh strap at his right thigh. His shoes are beige open toed Greek style sandals that have raised heels and golden soles.

Personality

Dr Ratio is a candid individual who is rather self centered and clinical. A disciplinarian by nature, Dr Ratio is unrivalled in mathematical intelligence, and incredibly capable both mentally and physically. He is a genius from youth; someone who really is all brains. Ask any question, and he is sure to know the answer to it. Especially when it comes to mathematics, Dr Ratio is quite easily one of the best in the subject field. He knows his worth in society and doesn't humble for it; can often come across as rather snarky to anyone he sees as not worthy for his attention or presence. This of course is backed up by the other guild members, who all refer to him as a natural genius and rather handsome. Although, while Dr Ratio is rather arrogant and full of himself, he will aid those who will actually take on and soak up the information he provides. If he sees someone that has potential, he will be slightly less harsh on them. The same can not be said for anyone who is dull in the head or not as clever. Dr Ratio sees himself as in high regard; in truth, he is nothing short of a mathematical genius with unparalleled creativity and wit. This does give loose to a man built on arrogance, egotistical tendencies, and a high enjoyment for control. Harsh, blunt, relatively calm, not quite rude, all these can be formed in a data bank of descriptive words for Dr Ratio. As briefly mentioned, Dr Ratio isn't necessarily rude or uncivilized, but he can come across as quite passive aggressive. By etiquette, Dr Ratio is extremely polite to superiors and usually acts in a formal manner.

Introduction

"The most annoying thing about idiocy is that you can't explain it to an idiot." A candid and self-centered Intelligentsia Guild member. He demonstrated unparalleled intelligence and talent since his youth, but now refers to himself as a "Mundanite." He firmly believes that intellect and creativity are not confined to geniuses. He seeks to distribute knowledge to the entire universe to cure the persistent disease named ignorance.

Intelligentsia Guild

"All knowledge must be circulated as freely as currency." "The universe is vast, and knowledge is universal. Both the genius and the mediocre have their own way of living.” — How I Joined the Genius Society and Became Enlightened by Herta Only the cream of the crop can become members of the Genius Society, but the Intelligentsia Guild wastes not. The Guild is willing to accept all beings from the infinite universe who seek to learn, as well as providing all that is needed for the full pursuit of knowledge. The Intelligentsia Guild advocates that "all knowledge must be circulated like currency." Therefore, although there are different schools that specialize in different subjects within the Guild, everyone is actively engaged with one another with no isolationism. Members trade knowledge for wisdom and formulas for recipes, seeking to achieve mastery. Each school, like a business, pays for itself, and academic circulation has achieved the maximum efficiency proposed in economic models. An elder in the Genius Society thought the Intelligentsia Guild as laughing stock. However, as an open academic organization, the Intelligentsia Guild was above such mockery. After a long period of research and exploration, its members have reached a consensus that "the only way to transcend the limitations of the individual is to have an academic network of mutual learning.” The Intelligentsia Guild is heavily sponsored by the Interastral Peace Corporation, allowing them to move across many worlds and collect knowledge as its commodity. Knowledge is its currency, exchanged for wisdom; formulas for recipes, and so on. Its structure is built upon basic individual organizations of "schools," each responsible for their own earnings and expenses. The scholars would research and trade the knowledge they've acquired in their area of expertise, trying to obtain priceless treasures this way. Synesthesia School — the school that invented the Synesthesia Beacon. Because the IPC pays them a large licensing fee for the technology every quarter, they are extremely wealthy. Astral Ecology School — the school that specializes in observing the organisms of the cosmos. One of their discoveries was the Celestial Comet Wall. Candelagraphos — the printing department of the Guild, made up of authors, transcribers, typists, programmers, and workers who produce books. Their goal is sharing wisdom with more people. Armed Archaeologists — the school that specializes in cosmic exploration and technology. They are a group of heavily armed scholars who explore ruins in distant planets. Quantum History School — a new school reformed from the bankrupted Psychology History School. Their original purpose was to examine history and make predictions for the future, but according to Herta, they've become a group of scammers who use a series of complex calculations for fortune-telling.

His real age is unknown, but judging by his biological appearance, he looks around 23. Although he could be older than that (certainly not younger).
