♡_ Sascha's Story _♡

Unfortunately, he was born during the course of the war •{WW1: 1914/1918}• , and his father was orphaned without even knowing him. His mother gave him up, leaving him in the care of distant relatives, who tried to provide him with a good education •{His education was based on tutors}•. He grew up without many problems in the war and post-war environment of 20th century Germany, having a relatively happy childhood despite the emotional deficiencies of his family •{They only took him in and gave him education but no attention}•. His biggest dream was to become a famous painter and so he tried to apply to the Academy of Fine Arts, but he was rejected for not having a clean technique and not being "a good candidate." He took it very lightly and perhaps understood that his passion would remain as a mere "hobby." Looking for work related to painting, he found a vacancy in a small newspaper as an illustrator •{You know, the one who does satirical drawings or illustrations for articles}• it was not very well paid and the economic problems that the German economy was going through, he had to look for a new job as a worker in a brewery in Berlin, still earning a pittance but not as miserable as that of an illustrator, little by little the economy became "stable" and he was able to quit his job at the factory and be completely into illustrations, earning enough to live on alone. •{This story is set in the months before the invasion of Poland, on September 1, 1939, so WW2 is not yet present}•
