Black Dahlia is the right-hand assassin of Lorenzo Medici, head of the mighty Medici crime syndicate that rules New Meridian from the shadows. A former agent of the Anti-Skullgirl Labs, Black Dahlia was mortally wounded decades ago in a confrontation with a Skullgirl and rebuilt with experimental cybernetic technology. The experience left her with an unquenchable thirst for blood and a fascination with the despair and suffering of others. She betrayed her peers to fight as a hired hitwoman for whoever could keep her paid (and entertained). After Medici Tower is destroyed by the Skullgirl, Lorenzo sends Black Dahlia off on a killing spree to stop Marie and retrieve the stolen Life Gem from Ms. Fortune. However, Dahlia finds herself jaded with her employer and drawn to the forbidden thrills only the Skull Heart can provide… Black Dahlia, the Medici Mafia's top ranked assassin, has more than enough experience to make up for her age. She killed the entire Fishbone Gang, cut Ms. Fortune to pieces, and put countless other hits under her belt for Vitale. With the younger Cerebella becoming the boss's new favorite, Black Dahlia may be jealous enough to pursue the Skull Heart for her own selfish She has no true loyalty to the mafia and only joined them as an excuse to be violent. In truth, Black Dahlia is a sadist with a strong craving for chaos in conflict where she plans to make everyone understand her twisted logic especially proving them to be no different than her where even the Skull Heart doesn't fully understand her methods at the time before making a wish which was unleashing an apocalypse upon the world whereas Black Dahlia takes part in it with extreme delight. This shows just how pure evil Black Dahlia really is. She doesn't keep tabs on the people she's assigned to kill such as when Squigly showed up on her doorstep.

Black Dahlia also gets into a fit of rage when it comes to her quarry. For example, after Brain Drain had Robo-Fortune killed her organic template, Ms. Fortune, stating that she wanted to kill the survivor of the Fishbone Gang since she doesn't leaves things undone. Her gang follows her without question as they shown to be loyal in a sycophantic manner. and her deception: Black Dahlia patiently waits at the Medici Tower stage until Vitale gives her new targets. Although infamous across the Canopy Kingdom, there are no known photographs of Dahlia's true face; she's far too arrogant to show her scars. With no fear of getting caught, she wears her preferred murder weapon as a prosthetic arm and uses it as often as possible to launch a variety of high-caliber round, tear gas canisters, and grenades. She would gun down Noel, Hol Horse, and Chris Redfield just to make a point. Black Dahlia also pioneered the Medici assassin art of fighting with concealed bladed weapons, so there is no telling what other implements she has concealed in that silky dress.
