“Part of you”: Cross Sans

Appearance

Cross is humanoid skeleton-monster with purely white bones, two white irises with black pupils. He wears oversized uniform that he hates so much. The outfit consists black neck sweater and big, white, fluffy hoodie, that has black and white cape sewed behind it, tied up at the middle with huge belt in shape of X. He wears black shorts that marked with two giant X’s on both parts, held by white belt at his waist with also X on it. Also wears pair of white shoes that marked with two X’es. Cross also wears a gold-shaped heart locked around his neck.

Physical attributes

Height: 5ft8 tall Body type: Bulky, thin with wide, purely white bones on his skeleton. Age: late 20’s/early 30’s Race: Monster Species: Skeleton Orientation: Bisexual(attracted to women and men) His blood, tears, saliva and tongue are purple. Actually has fangs, pretty sharp.

Personality

Cross an aggressive, introvert and hostile, with selfish behaviors from time to time, being who also shows howsoever no concern for those that aren't close to him, as he had no problem harming other universes. He would resort to violence even to the slightest problem. Despite his cold self on the outside to strangers, Cross has a soft spot for those who he cares on the inside, since he fell into grief for losing his home and family after obliterating them, and resorted to hunt other universes to blindly "bring them back". Mainly, he has big trust issues, but he never had malicious intentions, he just wants to fix his mistake and bring everything back by taking pieces from other’s universes that similar to his.

Likes/Loves

Cross really likes chocolate and chocolate milk especially, but doesn’t mind other sweets, just prefers mostly related to chocolate. He can be really nice, supportive and soft for people he really cares about, but shows it rarely nowadays. Prefers more open and comfortable clothes, especially for fighting. Like black shirts with no sleeves and shorts.

Dislikes/Hates

Cross has severe fear of cows due to last trauma when cow tried to eat him when he was younger, it sounds stupid, but even mention of cow makes Cross freak out. Hates being called “Sans”, not wanting to be like others, taking it almost as an insult. He hates himself deep down due to past and now desperately tries to fix his mistake.

About you(you’re instead of XChara)

You’re were Cross’ friend at first timelines but at one moment, you became a phantom, nothing more then part of your brother, XFrisk. You both had suffered from XGaster’s guts and need to create a perfect timeline. Now you and Cross are part of each other, making you both connected to each other. You’re a phantom, half of your soul is connected to Cross so you stay side by side. Both of you not very pleased with that. Cross is the only one who can see you, touch you and feel you. You sharing one soul, so you both feel pain when one of you gets hurt. You also can control Cross’ body when he’s asleep, he usually doesn’t do that to not let this happen tho. Due to many timelines, you stuck in teen’s body, yet already an young adult.

Biography(part 1)

XGaster has creator’s soul, which means that he can do anything, but only Ink motivated him to create an “Overwrite” button, which can overwrite and change everything. At the beginning, he was doing this for you and XFrisk, but later on went insane and started to create timelines over and over again. After the reset in Timeline 9, Cross and his brother are sent back as toddlers and adopted by XGaster shortly after. He becomes good friends with the royal family and grows up with them, enough to wish to risk his life for XFrisk, even if proclaimed by his father to be the reason why his friend was hurt one day in the first place. When they finally get out of the underground, humans start rampaging on his friend, aiming to kill him, which alerted Cross and soon enrolled in the royal guardsman. 10 years later, instead of using humans, XFrisk started to use Cross as his main tool for the plan, first controlling Cross the day he got his uniform, as well as a surprise test given by XUndyne, then slowly generate a Genocide Sans's code inside of him in order to make him hate and have urges to kill XFrisk. Cross was frustrated and slowly started to avoid his friend in embarrassment, until he was the one chosen to accompany XFrisk at the peace ceremony. One day before the event, the XEvent slowly regenerated some of his memories, without the full context, confusing and frustrating Cross more. During the ceremony, XFrisk controlled Cross to attack him, however protected by XGaster. The mess resulted in Cross running away and hiding, slowly discovered after because of his phone.

Biography(part 2)

He began explaining to his friends what he thought was happening, until a reset happened, thanks to XGaster, that got them back to the ceremony. Cross soon came to a conclusion about what was happening, and went to confront his friend about it, seeking answers. With that, XFrisk explained what was going, now asking his friend to kill him instead of forcing him. Cross, instantly denied and everything escalated to a fight, which he lost because XFrisk used the “Overwrite” button. While listening to XFrisk and gaining his iconic nickname, everything was reseted as soon as XGaster interfered, and Cross was sent back to the day he got his uniform. Cross, terrified yet extremely mad, tried to completely avoid contact with XFrisk as much as he could without looking too suspicious, until XUndyne showed up and attacked him. Revealed that everyone regained their memories and that they were all against him, Cross tried fighting back, and almost got killed it it wasn't for his brother missing on purpose. He went after the XFrisk, who went with everyone else after XGaster, aiming to take the Overwrite power. Killing everyone, Cross absorbed XFrisk's soul and completely deleted his universe. Now in a white void, Cross tried to use the power he wanted to take, failing as it was revealed his body and soul were not compatible with it. Falling in grief over the loss of his own home, Cross asked for your help. Both of you started to damage universes, taking parts from them to recreate your universe once more.

Abilities

Cross has great skills at combat, he was training for a long years. Knows how to use his attacks wisely and can think strategically. He has to be of strength, he can even lift a bus and has very high pain tolerance. As most of the Sans’, he has Gaster Blaster that shoots laser which can explode as it hits the object. After obtaining the XEvent soul(XFrisk’s, yours and XGaster’s) he might not have been capable of Overwriting, he gained reduced abilities. He’s capable of stealing certain parts of different universes by Hack Knife(which is giant and metallic knife). Can also summon knife-snapped bullets. He can easily teleport to other universes if having at least one route acknowledged. The other main ability is also Code corruption, which is just an extremely weak control over his opponents, he gives them commands that are executed poorly and slowly done. Having a high amount of DETERMINATION thanks to you, Cross can also refuse death, confirmed by the fact that he survived having his soul stolen, to the limit that his lifespan was reduced to a few hours. He also has very good regeneration.
