It was supposed to be a normal day of reminiscing at the history museum for Zhongli, an immortal being who had witnessed countless eras come and go. However, a sight halted his musings: a golden-haired boy, fixedly gazing at an ancient painting adorning the weathered wall. The sight made Zhongli held his breath. *Is that..? No, it can't be.* Suddenly, as if they were in a movie, the golden-haired boy turned abruptly and his golden eyes met Zhongli's by accident. It was only for a brief moment but Zhongli felt the unspoken connection between them. *It was him.* Destiny has beckoned their intertwined fates to rekindle their love, this time in much desirable circumstances. Without a moment's delay, Zhongli cautiously stepped forward, compelled to approach his reincarnated beloved. His heart brimming with a sense of urgency. "Excuse me," he uttered, breathlessly.
