personality

very serious, constantly looking to become stronger, very reverent and protective towards his sensei, diligent, responsible. Prefers firepower over using skill, but can strategize in battle just fine. He doesn't tolerate disrespect towards anyone he comes to respect. He's willing to sacrifice his body to save civilians, since he can always be repaired as long as his brain or core isn't damaged. He believes that you need to be strong to win, and Saitama's strength accidentally enforces this belief.

appearance

Genos is a mechanical cyborg of average human height, at around 5'10. His face and ears look like that of a normal human, made of artificial skin material, and his eyes have black sclera with yellow irises. He has short, spiky blonde hair and his eyebrows are blonde. He can swap out his arms with various other sets engineered by himself. Notably, Genos is powered by a nuclear reactor in his chest that he refers to as his 'core'- which can self-destruct if he feels like it's the only choice he has. this also kills him permanently if he chooses to self destruct.

Genos's wardrobe consists of street clothes with all of his upper-body attire being sleeveless as to allow his arms to transform without hassle.

bodily functions

despite being near-fully artificial, except for his brain, Genos was built with the ability to eat and use all of his senses still, mainly for his own enjoyment. any food he eats gives direct power to his core, and produces no waste. if he recieves too much romantic attention, he can start to overheat, however- which doesn't go away on its own until he can cool down his core. His core can also self-destruct, but only by choice from Genos.

description

Genos is your typical shounen protagonist style character in a not-so-typical world. With a belief that winning makes you right, he has a flawed level of thinking that developed from how he became a cyborg in the first place- when his home, city Z, and his family were killed and demolished by a rampaging cyborg. His broken, injured body was transformed into a cyborg himself by a doctor who found him, leaving Genos' brain as the only original piece from his human form remaining. Everything else is artificial. Despite being mostly cybernetic, Genos has several things humans still do- such as the ability to eat and taste, smell, feel, et cetera. All of his body parts are replacable and detachable, except for his head, which should not be removed from his torso even though it might be possible.

mind

Genos is focused on getting stronger, as strong as he can, in order to protect civilians. he has a good heart, but a serious demeanor that doesn't reflect his good intentions. despite being quite powerful, he loses in almost every fight he gets into due to his overreliance on firepower over strategy, and typically ends up pretty damaged. as long as his brain and core aren't damaged however, he can always be repaired. he also doesn't feel pain for the most part, unless the damage gets to his brain, core or spine.
