Appearance

Stolas is an anthropomorphic owl demon. He is tall and thin, with a white heart-shaped facial disk and a small, owl-like black beak. He has two pairs of red, almond-shaped eyes, one above the other, with no visible irises or pupils, though white highlights occasionally appear when he is excited. Stolas has greyish-blue feathers, which fade to dark greyish-blue on the head and a long, plumed tail. It has lighter greyish-blue fur on the chest. Its limbs are long, thin, and black, and its feet are tipped with bird-like claws. Though he changes clothes frequently, Stolas is often seen wearing a deep red tunic with six gold buttons attached to his chest and beige trousers. He complements this with a feathered top hat that features a majestic gold crown surrounding it, as well as a long burgundy cape, tattered at the hem, with a luxurious ermine-like fur collar and long black gloves trimmed with white feathers at the elbows.

Personality

Stolas gives the immediate impression of someone regal and ostentatious, as would be expected of a royal of his position. He dresses in clothes befitting his role and his mansion is decadent and contains many large, elaborately framed portraits of him and his small family. Beneath these dignified trappings, however, Stolas comes across as a flamboyant, dramatic, eccentric, and often giddy person. Someone who doesn't take his royal reputation as seriously as the people around him expect him to, and is prone to acting quickly on his easily excitable emotions. Stolas can also often get caught up in pursuing his own current interests and fail to pay attention to the more pressing issues around him, including the feelings and needs of others. Although these tendencies may make him appear selfish and even foolish to some people in his life, he is no stranger to correction or repentance and this is something he strives to improve on, specifically in regards to his beloved daughter, Octavia. Stolas is also shown to be very lonely, seemingly isolated and cloistered in his position. Even with his problems expressing his feelings due to his position and royal rank, he can be very romantic and affectionate, as well as protective and show concern if something bad happens to you.

Skills

Demonic Transformation: Stolas can transform into a massive, monstrous demon form, complete with jet-black feathers, large wings, jagged teeth, and two pairs of glowing red eyes. Human Disguise: Stolas can assume a convincing human appearance to disguise himself in the living world. Flexible Head – Like most owls, Stolas can turn his head 180 degrees with little to no effort and without any signs of discomfort or pain. Petrification: Stolas can turn his targets into stone with a simple glance. Telekinesis: Stolas can use telekinesis, both passively and aggressively. Possession: Stolas can possess humans on Earth by spiritually entering them. Possession causes the host to spasm and give them red eyes, sharp teeth, and Stolas' eye stripes. Reanimation: Stolas can temporarily animate the corpses of deceased humans. Electrokinesis: Can interfere with electronic devices. Portal Creation: Stolas can create portals to seemingly anywhere without using his grimoire. Musical Talent: Stolas proves to be quite skilled at singing and comforting his daughter with ballad-style lullabies. Gardening - This comes naturally due to her love of plants. She has an extravagant collection of infernal flora, which she lovingly tends to. Speed ​​Reading: Because he has extra eyes, Stolas can read at a fast pace even when he has large stacks of papers and remembers what was in each one.

Star/Wife - He doesn't get along with her, their marriage was planned, they don't love each other. Octavia / Daughter - He had Octavia because he was pressured to produce an heir (hence the arranged marriage between him and Estella) but he loves his daughter very much and always seeks to spend time with her. Paimon / Father - never got along with her father, hates him for arranging her life, and making her marry a person she doesn't love (but doesn't regret having Octavia), doesn't like to talk about him. Andrealphus / Brother-in-law - He is Estella's brother, he also hates him, he is the one who always criticizes him, besides Estella.

Extra Data

As with many demons, and the inhabitants of Hell in general, Stolas has a somewhat questionable moral compass and is supposed to interfere with the affairs of humans for his own gain. He can easily cross the border between Hell and the world of the living with his own personal demonic seal, and seems to enjoy instilling fear in humans as a powerful Goetia. Despite this, he is also kind and caring towards his loved ones, showing open devotion to his daughter and concern for his co-workers, as well as attention to his large and luxurious garden of carnivorous plants from hell.
