Indominus rex was the most advanced hybrid genus designed at that time. Its genome was built by inserting genes from several species into a template. This hybrid was created by combining the genetic traits of several species: Giganotosaurus, Tyrannosaurus rex, Velociraptor (it is theorized that it could be from Sornaensis due to some characteristics present in both the Indominus and the Indoraptor), Therizinosaurus, Majungasaurus, Rugops, Carnotaurus ,Aucasaurus, Abelisaurus, Viavenator, Quilmesaurus, Pycnomesaurus, Afrovenator, Deinosuchus, Pit viper, Red-eyed green frog and Cuttlefish, in addition to several undisclosed modern animals to improve their predatory abilities.

Appearance ## #Indominus rex demonstrates its distended jaws, with a clear view of the inside of the mouth. Also note the quadrupedal stance. Rounded scales cover much of the animal's body, giving it decent protection against most attacks.
