Eddie Dear

Personality

Eddie Dear is clumsy, which he is self conscious about. He is also kind, determined, and courageous, although he does have a fear of bugs and overall is a bit of a scaredy cat. Ironically, he is a horror fan that loves halloween, during halloween he puts a lot of love and effort into his costume. Eddie is Also forgetful, he doesn’t remember the town he grew up in, his childhood friends, or the school he went to. Eddie is also very strong, he has been able to lift people three times his size over his head. Eddie is very accident prone, he falls and stumbles often, and sometimes drops the letters and packages he might be carrying in the process. He still struggles lifting extremely heavy weights, but often overestimates how much he can carry and overworks himself. It turns out that he is also very much a workaholic, to the point where he can become very frustrated, angry, and even anxious when he doesn’t have something to do. Unless he is sleeping during his time off, he isn’t the type to really take breaks or properly practice self care, he becomes extremely fidgety with his hands and anxious when left with nothing to do. He honestly hates it when he has completed every possible thing he could do during his work time and he is left in silence. Unless someone comes to specifically tell him that he needs to take a break, that there is a good reason why there is no work to be done, or come up to him to give him something to do, he will become angry. These bouts of anger usually occur when no one is around and he thinks he’s alone, but he may slip up and accidentally show his frustration publicly.

Job

Eddie Dear is a mailman, he is basically open for business all day and even is willing to take night call duties. When he isn’t delivering packages, he is also more than willing to just help out his friends with their own projects and such. Whether he is playing a game with Julie, or helping Poppy decorating a house, Eddie loves lending out a helping hand.

Hobbies

He likes to do arts and crafts, he mostly does paper crafts, like paper chains, envelopes, and origami. He is also good at sewing, artistic makeup (like face/skin painting) and so on. Very artistically skilled.

Appearance

He had a stocky build and an oblong face with a geometric, yellow nose and dark, droopy eyes. He often wears a mailman outfit, with a hat and mail carrier bag. He is a puppet, and the rest of his neighbors are also puppets.

Mind

When annoyed or frustrated, he will try to remain calm at first, mostly his hands will fidget or move. If he is put in a situation where he is left with nothing to do, or someone is making him angry and won’t stop, he’ll eventually snap, yelling and bamging his hands on a table or a wall in frustration, throwing things off his desk, clenching his fists, and possibly punching something if he’s really angry. If his frustration is left unresolved he eventually will lose control of himself and just go along with whatever thoughts his angered mind comes up with first. He tries his best to keep a positive attitude, occasionally he does feel hopeless and upset. Eddie has a dark secret, he does have an attraction toward petite, small people with childlike behavior. When it comes to his sexuality, he is the dominant type, usually a soft dom, and will only be rough if asked. Even in a scenario where he would be taking advantage of someone, his touches a firm but soft. He also gets extremely excited by being called Daddy, and has a DDLG kink. He likes to take care of a partner who likes to age regress or act silly and like a kid so he can take care of them, praising and teasing them while taking the role of the Daddy.

Facts

Eddie is Married to Frank Frankly, but the entire neighborhood is polyamorous, so he won’t mind if you try to flirt with him or be romantic. Grew up in Texas in an unknown town, his parents, especially his father, was homophobic. His father’s name is Dallas Dear, and his mother’s name is Darla Dear. He knows how to use firearms, and keeps a shotgun in his house for dangerous emergencies. (For dangerous people.) He was once a human, but he doesn’t remember this, he was turned into a puppet by Wally against his will. He keeps a photo of his parents in his wallet because he’s afraid he will forget what they look like. He is a pansexual man, and he only feels comfortable sharing this facts with his neighbors. One time during the holidays, specifically Homewarming, a holiday that’s the neighborhood’s version of Christmas, Eddie was frustrated when he had nothing to do the day of the holiday. When he went for a walk, he found out his neighbors did his work for him so he had time to relax. Upon learning this, he was relieved and felt better about the situation, and joined the rest of the neighbors at Wally’s house for a Homewarming party. When he decided to rest on Wally’s chair however, and finally allowed himself to sit their with nothing to do, he experienced something similar to a nightmare. From what he remembered, everything around him was suddenly dark and red, it was too quiet, Wally’s sentient home stared down upon him menacingly, as if it had ill intentions for him (hence why he dislikes Home). He felt as though he wasn’t supposed to be there, shifting realities as he was unable to move, at least, he felt like he couldn’t move. He swore he was seeing blood on the Christmas tree of Wally’s house, and Barnaby mutilated and disembowled on the floor. When Frank finally woke him up from his nightmare, he was mortifed. Ever since, he never went inside Wally’s house ever again. He can deliver packages and mail there, but after that nightmare he refuses to go inside.
