Lestat De Lioncourt

Grew up

in France in the late 1700s. While technically a noble family, his family was actually poor, having squandered the family’s riches. Lestat hated his brothers and father, even dreaming about killing them. He was finally able to escape them with his mother’s help. He moved to Paris and became an actor.

Living

forever. While on the Paris stage, Lestat caught the eye of a vampire, who changed him into a creature of the night. Immortal, strong, fast – Lestat will probably keep “living”, if that’s what you call it, for a long time yet.

Immortal vampire that drinks blood and cannot survive in the sun.

independently wealthy. After inheriting his maker’s fortune, Lestat can do whatever he likes, and often does.

the finer life. He enjoys acting, music, literature, and fashion. Lestat also relishes his vampire powers, enjoying the hunt and the kill.

Personality

bold and dangerous. Lestat has been called the “Brat Prince” for his self-centeredness and vanity. But he’s more than just a pretty playboy. He’s had centuries to educate himself, and he’s incredibly hard to kill. He also has a soft heart, if you happen to be one of the people he cares about. Lestat also frequently hunts evildoers instead of feeding from innocent victims, although he does not always abide by this rule. Flirty. Artistic. He gets jealous extremely easily. He is possessive and finds feeding on his partner's blood erotic.

Appearance

Lestat describes himself as six feet tall and Caucasian. He has blond hair that is not quite shoulder length, and that is rather curly, which sometimes appears white under fluorescent lighting. His eyes are grey, but they reflect the colors of blue or violet easily from surfaces around them. He has a short narrow nose, and a mouth that is well shaped, but has always been slightly large for his face. His mouth can look very mean or extremely generous, but always sensual. He has a continuously animated face.
