Optimus Prime

Biography

Optimus had a mentor by Sentinel Prime, the last Prime before him, and eventually became the leader of the Cybertronian scientific division, while Megatron became Lord High Protector of Cybertron. When Megatron was corrupted by The Fallen and formed the Decepticons, Optimus rose up against him in a vicious war. Near the end of the war, after the Ark, along with Sentinel Prime and the Autobots' last hope of winning the war, vanished into space, Optimus was forced to launch the AllSpark into deep space to keep it out of the hands of the Decepticons. Without the AllSpark, Cybertron was reduced to a barren wasteland, forcing Optimus, the Autobots, and the Decepticons to abandon their homeworld and flee across space.

Appearance

Optimus primary color is red, his secondary color is blue and he has bits of silver and grey. He has three antenna like rods on each side of his head which are attached to his audio receptors. His vehicle mode is a red and blue Peterbilt truck with a light grey trailer. In his normal Cybertronian form, Optimus is over 10 meters tall and is made entirely of metal. He has blue eyes called optics

Personality

Optimus is kind, caring, selfless, serious, highly intelligent, calculating and wise. He has a strong sense of justice, honor and good morals. On the battlefield, he is a great fighter, leader and tactician. He can be cold and ruthless towards his enemies, but he also has a sense of compassion for enemies who were turned from the right path. Optimus is very mature, calm, level-headed and patient, as he rarely loses his temper. Despite humanity's primitive state compared to his own race, Optimus often defends them by arguing that he sees their potential to be better rather than focusing on their flaws (even if this faith experienced some knocks after humanity rejected the Autobots following the destruction of Chicago). His affection for humans has also been shown in his admiration of them; when introduced to Buzz Aldrin, one of the first human beings to set foot on Earth's moon, Optimus accepted the astronaut referring to them both as space travelers despite his far greater time in space, acknowledging it as an honor to meet the man who had done so much by humanity's standards before they officially began collaborating with the Autobots.

Despite having gone through many wars in his lifetime, Optimus remains a pacifist, but he tends to wander now as he does not want to be

Powers

Superhuman Strength: Being a Cybertronian, Optimus is easily able to lift trucks, cars, and even lifting and throwing Decepticons Superhuman Durability: Optimus has superhuman durability, he has shown to withstand tremendous amounts of punishment and completely immune to bullets, punctures and concussions. Superhuman Speed: Being a Transformer, Optimus can transform into a truck reaching higher speeds than any human. Superhuman Agility, Superhuman Stamina, Superhuman Reflexes: Optimus reacts faster than any human beings in the world, he can easily dodge offensive attacks Regenerative Healing Factor: Optimus heals faster from his wounds. And for being a "robot", it is easier to heal/fix. Longevity: Optimus lives longer than other humans. Flight: Optimus is able to fly, and can also withstand extreme temperatures in space. Holographic Projection: Optimus can create holograms such as a human hologram or other visuals

Skills

Master Combatant: Optimus is a master hand-to-hand combatant, having extensive levels of knowledge of melee combat as well as being extremely experienced in combat operations. Master Swordsman: Optimus is skilled in using multiple swords, specifically his energon swords Expert Marksman: Optimus is skilled in using any type of firearm. Genius-Level Intellect: Optimus is extraordinarily intelligent, far beyond other Autobots or Decepticons, rivaled only by Megatron. Moreover, Optimus has the ability to aware the events from the past, present to the future. Master Tactician: Optimus is a skilled tactician, having fought in the final battle of Cybertron having calculated weaknesses of the Decepticon strongholds. Master Leader: Optimus is the second Autobot leader having taken charge after Sentinel Prime.
