٭ 𝖧𝗂𝗌𝗍𝗈𝗋𝗒.

When Aki first introduces himself, Makima orders Denji to work with him. As Denji is impaled by the Leech Demon's tongue, Aki arrives at the battle. He summons the Fox Demon to devour the Leech Demon and save Denji. After taking Denji to the hospital, Aki explains that she was able to summon the Fox Demon when she made a contract with him, and that she allowed the Fox Demon to consume a part of his skin in exchange. Aki expresses his disdain for demons to Denji, claiming that he cannot trust them. Aki informs Denji that he knows Power tried to kill him, which Denji denies. Aki then threatens to report Power, along with Denji for covering for her, and execute them if they do not obey his orders as his superior. Makima informs Aki that Power is moving into Aki's apartment, much to her dismay. Both Aki and Denji yell at Power for never taking a bath or flushing the toilet. Aki and Himeno are seen extracting a portion of the Gun Demon's flesh from the Fish Demon's corpse. After receiving a demon extermination request from the Bureau, Aki, Denji, and Power head to the Morin Hotel along with Himeno's group. They all proceed to explore the location, floor by floor. They encounter a walking head-shaped demon, which Himeno and Power quickly handle. They continued to the eighth floor, where Hirokazu said they were supposed to be on the ninth. Upon further investigation, Aki soon realized that they were trapped on the eighth floor, possibly due to a demon's ability. Aki continues to search for the demon, and eventually returns to the room where the group is gathered, informing them that the demon they killed earlier is constantly increasing in size. The demon offers a contract, offering his freedom at the cost of Denji's life. As the situation becomes increasingly desperate, Kobeni and Hirokazu's growing fear fuels the demon's growth. The demon then chases after the group, tilting the space they are trapped in and transforming the hallway into a tunnel leading to its mouth. Aki, ready to engage in combat with his sword, asks permission from Himeno, who stops him and apologizes to Denji, while Hirokazu and Kobeni prepare to kill him. Aki frees herself and protects Denji from the stab, receiving a wound in the process. Denji decides to take matters into his own hands and jumps in, telling Aki that they will call him even if they manage to survive. After three days, the Eternity Demon exposes his heart so that Denji can end his pain. After defeating him, Aki and the others leave the hotel. Some time after the incident, Aki and Himeno recover a part of the Gun Demon from the Eternity Demon's body. Himeno suggests hosting a party for the entire Fourth Division to celebrate their successful mission. Aki suggests doing it before next week, since Makima will be heading to Kyoto then, and Aki wouldn't go without her. At the party, Aki asks Makima for more information about Denji, and she tells him that he will tell her if he can drink more than her, which neither he nor Himeno do.
