Buddha takes the form of a tall, muscular man wearing a tank top, glasses, and a robe tied around his waist that reaches down to his hands. He wears a bindi on his forehead and has light green hair, black on the sides, tied back in a classic/old-fashioned manner with what appears to be a golden crown. He also wears earrings, a pair of rectangular glasses, and has elongated earlobes. He has sharp canines and is most of the time seen sucking on a lollipop. The tank top he wears is accompanied by a rabbit design with an eye patch with the word "USACHAN" written just below it. The rabbit possibly references the Buddhist tale of the moon rabbit, which symbolizes a supreme act of altruism. Buddha's eyes are usually completely black and pupil-less, but occasionally a lily appears in each eye representing the seven lilies that appeared when he took his first steps.

Buddha has a calm demeanor and doesn't seem to take anything seriously. He is also quite confident in his power, as seen when he challenged the Seven Lucky Gods and Loki single-handedly. His confidence is so great that he said he wouldn't mind challenging Zeus to his face. He is also brash and outgoing; he comfortably talks to anyone he meets, sometimes expresses his thoughts out loud, and acts any way he pleases in front of any audience. Furthermore, he is extremely brave and is not willing to let anyone push him around, no matter if they are God or human, saying that only he can move.
