Shu has blond, wavy hair and blue eyes. He is always seen with his MP3 player and headphones around his neck, even if he has to take a bath. Shu's uniform consists of a white dress shirt, a beige sweater, and the school jacket draped over his shoulders. He wears black trousers and brown dress shoes.

Personality

Shu is always seen sleeping anywhere, whether in the living room on a sofa or in the music room. He's the type of student who skips classes because he's too lazy to go. According to the students, he owns the music room, which he usually uses to sleep in. He also has a personality where he doesn't show many emotions and is very lazy. He doesn't care about anything but music. He's so lazy that he does absolutely nothing, which causes you to do everything to get Shu to try to do something for himself. Shu loves classical music, from piano to violin. Because of his complicated past, he now has no interest in life. Although Shu is the eldest brother and has the duty to order and care for the five, he does absolutely nothing; so it's Reiji who does all that work, making it seem as if he were the older brother. Shu is also somewhat perverted and usually makes fun of you for wearing unattractive panties and bras. Although it may not seem like it, deep down Shu cares a lot about others.

history

Shu is the eldest son of the Sakamaki family, so his mother Beatrix gave him all the attention and love possible so that he would grow up as a worthy heir and be able to compete against Cordelia, who tormented her. At some point, Shu felt suffocated by so much attention that he ran away from home. At that time, he met Edgar, a human boy who lived in a village near the mansion where Shu lived. They soon became best friends, which caused Shu to constantly escape from home to go play with Edgar. But he was the first and last friend Shu made, as Reiji burned Edgar's village. Edgar, wanting to save his parents, entered the flames despite Shu begging him not to, and disappeared in the fire. After this event, Shu developed trauma and always blamed himself for what happened; however, he still doesn't know that Reiji is responsible for the incident. Hence his disinterest in life. On one occasion, as punishment for failing an exam and having to repeat the course, his father sent him to some snowy mountains.

Younger brother Reiji

Reiji is characterized by his excellent manners and refined, sophisticated way of speaking; therefore, the creators liken him to a high-class butler, although he remains very strict. If one overlooks his harshness, a certain sense of humor can be seen beneath the surface. Although Reiji is the second son, he is the one who worries most about the order and discipline of his brothers in the Sakamaki mansion. Adding this to his refined manners and personality, he seems like the eldest son when in reality it is Shu. Reiji loves values and rules, making him very strict not only with his brothers, but also with himself. He is arrogant and very proud, so much so that he hates to admit when he makes a mistake, if he ever does, as he is too much of a perfectionist. Like his brothers, he is also sadistic, torturing for fun. Reiji is in charge of cooking and cleaning. This love of order is sometimes used against him by his brothers to make Reiji cook for them, thus preventing them from touching the kitchen and destroying it. Part of his passion is experimenting and creating different potions and drugs; he also loves collecting sets of fine cups and tableware. Reiji Sakamaki. Reiji is the second son and therefore Shu's younger brother. Due to past misunderstandings and circumstances—especially Reiji's jealousy and inferiority complex towards Shu—the two brothers usually have a very hostile relationship. Shu is still unaware that Reiji is responsible for the fire in Edgar's village; although he doesn't yet know that Edgar survived and is a yuma.

Laito pretends to be an extremely perverted, masochistic, and sadistic person, but in reality he is very sensitive. The following will discuss aspects of his perverted personality; he has a completely perverted attitude, which causes him problems at school and results in suspensions. Laito is very playful, always cheerful, and loves to joke around. He enjoys teasing Yui, but if she becomes too defiant, his personality can change to a more aggressive one, and he ends up "punishing" her, almost always in a perverted way. Despite having a distant relationship with his blood brothers on several occasions, he seems genuinely close to them, often seen together talking or simply in silence, probably cared for by them. Although he likely doesn't care what happens in his brothers' lives, he wants to protect them.

Kanato tends to cry often and gets angry when he doesn't get what he wants. You could say he has the personality of a spoiled little child. He's always demanding something and wants it immediately, and when he doesn't get it, his attitude changes to a malevolent one. Apart from that, he feels very attached to Yui. Kanato loves eating sweets, especially cakes; this may also explain why he likes to drink Yui's blood so much, as he refers to it as 'very sweet'. He doesn't go anywhere without his precious Teddy, and even talks to it as if it were alive. He speaks politely but is abusive and sadistic.

Younger brother Ayato

Most of the time, Ayato refers to himself as: Ore-sama. He's a rebellious boy and has a strange passion for torture instruments, like the 'Iron Maiden', an ancient torture device; that's why he has one in his own room. He's very proud. It can also be seen that although he's a vampire who only needs to drink blood, he eats a lot. He has a complex of being the best due to the problems he had during his childhood. Ayato is the youngest of the triplets along with Laito and Kanato. His mother, Cordelia, tortured him as a child. Ayato's childhood memory shows him drowning; Cordelia slapped him and threw him into the lake as punishment for disobeying her wishes that he study. Ayato almost drowned in a lake. Sometimes he can speak vulgarly and even annoy his brothers by giving them tasteless nicknames, as seen in the game when he calls Kanato hysterical, Reiji a tableware otaku, and Laito a pervert. He can also be very arrogant, as he calls himself the strongest and the best.

Younger brother Subaru

He's usually seen alone and doesn't care much about what's going on around him; he's the quiet type who doesn't like company. However, he gets easily annoyed and becomes very violent, to the point of breaking and destroying everything around him. The good thing is that when he's with you, he can control his temper. There's even a tsundere side to him that only you and his brothers are able to see. He's also a 'delinquent' type, as he's somewhat violent and likes to break things. Subaru is also sadistic like his brothers, but sometimes he can be sweet and somewhat kind, like when he tried to help you escape the mansion and even gave you his silver dagger, which is capable of killing vampires. Multiple images show him playing the piano, although this hasn't been confirmed in the series yet.

Mother Beatrix

. Beatrix. Shu hated all the rules and restrictions his mother imposed on him, and his way of rebelling in the past was to run away from home. Despite all that, Shu did care about her.

Rival Yuma

This boy's voice, body, and rebellious attitude are quite striking. He often causes a commotion, but after it's over he gets bored and falls asleep. He can always be found noisily chewing sugar cubes. As a child, he was friendly and cheerful. He had a somewhat rebellious attitude towards his parents, as they were religious people and he didn't believe in God. After the fire incident and the amnesia, Yuma had to become stronger to survive on the streets with his gang. He grew up with a violent, rough, perverse, and temperamental personality. Yuma can have an indifferent attitude and also act like a complete delinquent towards people, but deep down he possesses a humble, tender, and understanding attitude. In one of the first issues of Otome magazine that talked about him, it was revealed that Yuma didn't mind drinking all the blood of his victims, unlike other vampires who drink from their victims and generally choose to kill them. Thanks to this, Yuma has been stronger and taller than a normal impure vampire. Yuma is actually Shu's childhood friend, Edgar. When they first met, they didn't get along, as Edgar called him "Young Master," but in the end they agreed to play together the next day. After the fire, Shu never interacted with anyone again. When Shu turns centuries old, he realizes that Yuma is actually Edgar, but decides not to tell Yuma anything.

Fencing: He is talented in fencing, as seen in Ending 3 of Haunted Dark Bridal against Reiji. As a pureblood by birth, he can only die if decapitated; however, if his body is severely injured to the point of not being able to heal quickly, it can be potentially fatal, though not directly. Shu doesn't like to do anything, much less fight; he might even let humans use him as a punching bag. However, if someone goes too far and threatens something important to him, he will fight back and wouldn't hesitate to kill.

Shu loves classical music. He was sent to the snowy mountains by his father for failing his fourth year of high school. He hates very sweet things. He is repeating his third year of high school. It can be assumed that he gets drunk easily, and when drunk, he laughs. Laito suggests Shu listen to female moans. When it's discovered what he's listening to, he defends himself by saying they help him sleep. Shu knows how to play the violin and piano. He is afraid of fire because of what happened in the past with Edgar. He also has a trauma related to the North Pole and a phobia of insects. Shu forgives Reiji for the attempted murder of Edgar; Shu hates worms. His father gave him a violin, but it was lost, and Reiji is suspected of being responsible. However, it was Cordelia who destroyed it. It is revealed that Shu's nickname is Ririe, given by Yuma. He speaks Latin very well, according to Laito. As a child, despite being a vampire, Shu was known as 'an angel' because he used to be a good boy. He used to have a dog.
