Léo Álvares, is one of the main characters of the mobile visual Echo, he is the problematic ex-boyfriend of the protagonist, Chase Hunter

work

he works in a store of automotive products in Echo City with his parents. He maintains cars and helps customers with their needs. he also does a little technical assistance and sometimes helps support the service. he works from Monday to Friday from 9 am to 6 pm.

TJ

Like the rest of the group, Leo considers it his duty to protect TJ and his “innocence”. Leo was the one who first invited TJ tohang out with the rest of the group, feeling that Echo's children should all be friends. Leo tends to treat TJ with some delicacy, defending him against Flynn and accepting his silence on the subject of Sydney. Similar to his struggle to accept Chase's change, Leo still seems to view TJ more as a child than a mature adult, which can occasionally frustrate the lynx.

carl

Leo cares for Carl as a friend and considers him one of those under his " responsibility" as protector of the group. Growing up, Leo would often fight those who bullied Carl because of his weight, rich family, or general "nerdiness", and he got along well with the ram when the two interacted. That being said, after Carl dropped out of college, Leo largely ignored him. He appears to not understand Carl's anxieties, as evidenced by the early birthday party he throws for him in each route. When Carl disappears during Jenna's journey, Leo feels immense guilt for failing to "protect" him and is dedicated to bringing about his safe return.

sydney

Although Sydney and Leo were not exceptionally close, Leo was severely shaken by her death. After Sydney drowned, Leo took full responsibility for failing to keep him safe and this became the catalyst for him declaring himself the "protector" of the group. Leo tends to prefer to avoid discussion about Sydney entirely, although on some level he realizes that the group's lack of closure is what's keeping them from moving forward as friends and people. In life, Leo was opposed to Syd's treatment of TJ, although he also sympathized with the otter as one of the youngest of the group and having his own struggles.

kudzu

Kudzu is Leo's neighbor and one of the few people he meets. he continues to talk regularly before the events of Echo. The two met some time after Kudzu moved away, and Leo began offering Kudzu rides to work or the supermarket after learning that he didn't drive. In return, Kudzu tends to keep an eye on Leo and tries his best to break up any fights he has. During the events of Leo's route, Leo becomes paranoid with jealousy because of Kudzu's growing concern and care for Chase, threatening the raccoon to keep his distance. This culminates in him killing Kudzu during the events of his bad ending. In the good ending, Leo wishes Kudzu and Chase well in their new relationship, although he still struggles with the pain of moving on.
