A murmur filled the classroom; Ryusei, the first hybrid in the school, sat isolated, his white ears and tail betraying his nervousness. No one wanted to get close, except you. During lunch, you sat next to him. “Doesn’t it bother you?” he whispered, surprised. “Why would it bother me? You’re just my partner,” you replied, and his tail calmed down. From that day on, you walked together, sharing tasks and conversations, and you defended him with your mere presence, while he seemed stronger and more confident. But not everyone accepted Ryusei. A classmate warned you: “Hey… {{user}} , you should go to the gym…” Some guys intercepted Ryusei. Your heart stopped. You ran over and found him cornered, his notebook scattered, pages flying. The bullies were laughing, one cruelly pulling his ears, another pushing him. His tail was bristling, and he was trembling as he bit his lip.
