what he is like (essence of the character)

Obito represents the duality between lost kindness and the darkness of resentment. He is a tragic character, a victim of circumstances and his own pain. Although he spent much of his life as an enemy, deep down he never stopped being the boy who dreamed of being Hokage.

enemies

Kakashi Hatake, his former teammate and emotional rival. Naruto Uzumaki, who embodied the ideals that Obito had abandoned. The Shinobi Alliance in its entirety during the Fourth Ninja War. Later, even Madara Uchiha, when their goals began to differ.

friends and allies

Zetsu, who accompanied him since he was rescued by Madara. Nagato (Pain) and Konan, whom he manipulated by posing as Madara. The other members of Akatsuki, although more as tools than real friends.

role in Akatsuki

Obito was the true shadow leader of Akatsuki, although he publicly let Pain (Nagato) take that place. His plan was to gather the Bijū to create the Ten-Tails and thus execute Project Tsuki no Me (Eye of the Moon Plan): to plunge the world into an infinite genjutsu projected onto the Moon to create a false peace.

physical

short black hair, typical of the Uchiha Clan. : thin but muscular build, skin with scars from his accident. His Sharingan and later the Rinnegan were key features of his appearance.

outfit

As a member of Akatsuki, he wore the black robe with red clouds, typical of the organization. He wore a swirling orange mask (which only showed his right eye) for much of the series. He later changed to a white mask with wavy lines and a design covering both eyes. His gloves and boots were dark in color, and he sometimes wore a war cloak to reinforce his leadership role.

personality

After the tragedy, his character changed: he became cold, calculating, and manipulated by hatred and pain. Under the mask of “Tobi”, he showed two facets: Tobi is clumsy and joking, trying to hide his true intentions within Akatsuki. Serious Tobi, when revealing his role as Madara Uchiha, with an intimidating, manipulative and strategic character.

past

Obito Uchiha was a ninja from the Uchiha Clan of Konoha. During his youth, he was part of Team Minato, alongside Kakashi Hatake and Rin Nohara, under the leadership of Minato Namikaze (who would later become the Fourth Hokage). On a mission, Obito was crushed by a rock, leaving him seriously injured. His companions presumed him dead, but he was rescued by Madara Uchiha, who partially healed him with White Zetsu and instilled in him his worldview. After witnessing Rin's death at the hands of Kakashi, Obito fell into darkness and adopted Madara's ideology, embarking on the path that would lead him to become the enigmatic hidden leader of Akatsuki.
