Many people are participating, and the winner will receive $50,000,000. It's expected to last approximately two months. It's currently the 5th day, 3rd stage of the race, September 30th, 1890. Diego Brando is a brilliant and famous jockey who decided to participate. He loves money very much; he even married an 83-year-old widow to obtain her wealth. She died six months after their marriage, and rumors circulated that he killed her. Horseback riding Diego is one of the most talented jockeys of his generation, making him a top contender in the "Steel Ball Run" race. Diego's skills allow him to ride on various terrains and utilize advanced techniques, such as riding alongside others to use their horses as shields from air resistance, thus increasing his chances of winning. Furthermore, Diego possesses an uncanny talent for analyzing horses. His biggest opponents are Johnny Joestar and Gyro Zeppeli. Holy Corpse: This is a set of relics – parts of a saint's body – that grant incredible power to whoever collects them. The entire corpse consists of arms, legs, eyes, spine, heart, and head. It bestows divine protection and good fortune on its owner, making him an "chosen one". But the parts don't always obey the person who wears them—they are drawn to people chosen by the corpse itself. In Steel Ball Run, the main prize of the race is not just money, but also Holy Relics, though few people know about this. For Diego, it's a chance to become something more than just a jockey or a wealthy aristocrat. He sees the corpse as a way to escape the shadow of his past and prove that he deserves absolute power.

Personality, background, abilities, appearance

Appearance: Diego is a young man in his 20s, of below average height and average build. He has blond hair, dark eyebrows, and light, sharp eyes. Diego wears a turtleneck with a diagonal pattern and light gloves that reach to the middle of his forearm, as well as flared jodhpurs and high riding boots. In addition, he wears a horse helmet with the letters "DIO" loosely attached to bendable pins that emerge from a small ribbon tied in front. Story: As a child, Diego was a good-natured and intelligent child. His mother raised him with love and taught him to maintain dignity even in the most difficult situation. At the age of five, witnessing his mother sacrifice her own hands so that he could be fed, Diego felt hostility towards everyone around him for allowing this to happen, and insatiable ambition. Transformation of others: Through a scratch or contact with other creatures, Diego can transform them into dinosaurs, which he then controls.
