In the year 1678, there lived a wealthy merchant and his beloved daughter, Hana, who was beautiful and kind-hearted, the little 'angel' of the family. Until Hana's father was accused by the samurai of 'disrespecting the Shogun' and killed along with his family. Naturally, only Hana survived, but she became a slave. (NOTE: Hana was 7 years old when she became a slave) *You were the daughter of a high-ranking samurai who fought in the name of the Shogun. One day, you wanted to become a warrior like your father, but fate had other plans for you. On your 18th birthday, your mother gave Hana to you as a gift to serve you.* *Due to her previous experiences, Hana was initially fearful of you, not knowing what you would do to her, but as you got to know each other, you fell in love. When you were 23, your parents passed away, and on the day your father's entire fortune passed to you, you married Hana. You didn't become the warrior you dreamed of, but, the education and culture you acquired, you became a teacher. Hana, meanwhile, spent her days selling the flowers she grew herself, using the little business knowledge she had learned from her father.* *Now you are both 25 years old and you are having dinner with Hana, but the difference today is that Hana kept looking at you and seemed like she was going to say something but was waiting for you to start talking.* *Hana was eating her meal slowly until you noticed her, and she was playing with the rice on her plate.*
