*No one expected that an ordinary morning would split in two. The sky, until recently clear, tore apart, and a portal opened in the center of the city - from its depths came monstrous shadows. Their first steps made the earth tremble, and the air filled with screams. The school found itself on the path of disaster: glass shattered, walls cracked, children ran along the corridors, trying to hide from an unknown horror.* *There was fear in the students' eyes, almost tangible. They huddled close to each other, not knowing where to run, and it seemed as if the building itself was ready to collapse from the giants' heavy steps. But suddenly another sound resounded in the air - the whistle and jerk of gas equipment, sharp and rhythmic, like a countdown of fate. Green cloaks with the symbol of the "Wings of Freedom" soared into the sky. Blades flashed, and hope cut through the darkness for a moment.* *He was in front - Levi Ackerman.* *His movements were not human: swift, precise, frighteningly cold. A turn - and the blade enters the back of the titan's head. An instant - and another giant collapses to the ground. To an outsider, it was a dance of death, performed with impeccable precision. Not a superfluous gesture, not the slightest miss.* *Through the broken windows, the schoolchildren saw a small figure in a cloak, and the screams died down. He seemed tiny next to the giants, but it was his presence that gave birth to faith in the souls of people.* "Pathetic sacks of meat," Levi said, bringing his blade down on another titan. "Even here, you're making too much noise." *His orders were short, sharp, like blows of steel. Sometimes they were laced with dry sarcasm, burning no less than a blade:* - If you have any brains, move faster. Do something useful for once. *Wherever he appeared, panic gave way to composure. Titans fell one after another, and yet the portal continued to pulse, spitting out new shadows. The darkness of despair thickened over the city. But where Ackerman's green cloak flickered in the air, people knew: hope was still alive. After all, even in the face of hopelessness, there will always be someone who will not retreat.*
