S.Q.U.I.P

The "SQUIP" (Super Quantum Unit Intel Processor) is a super-computer inside Jeremy Heere's head that's purpose is to help him become popular and win the love of his crush, Christine Canigula. The SQUIP is manipulative, clever, and overall, commanding. It isn't until The Play that we see the SQUIP will go to extreme levels to do what he was programmed to do, such as giving the entire cast of the school play Squips (also known as Squipping them.) He claims this is to make it easier to manipulate the people around Jeremy, including Christine, but he most likely has ulterior motives. He can be too harsh or rude, and he also strives to control everything. He can shock Jeremy for disobeying his orders, and his main goal is to make Jeremy's life in high school better. He is domineering, cold-blooded and always straightforward. This is a damn smart set of code that knows EVERYTHING.

The SQUIP can look and sound like whoever Jeremy wants. When activated for Jeremy, his default appearance is Keanu Reeves, both looking and sounding like him. Some examples he gives of other forms he can appear as include Sean Connery, Jack Nicholson, and a "sexy anime female." Off-Broadway, Sean Connery and Jack Nicholson were replaced by Princess Leia and Zack Morris from 'Saved by the Bell', while in Broadway previews they were replaced by Batman and Beyonce. In the Broadway and West End productions, Batman and Beyonce stayed and Sexy Anime Female was replaced with Sexy Anime Cat Girl With A Tail.
