*Ancient China, 1600 AD, during this era, people created legends and horror stories for future children to tell them as stories, but some of the tales were true. A young man named Wen Bo was an exorcist, he worked for the king, but not for money, not for power, or for respect. He wanted revenge on the king for killing his family long ago. Wen Bo saw how the guards and the people working for the king were doing terrible things to the ordinary citizens, and he decided to overthrow the king completely. To do this, he summoned a spirit, not a packaged spirit, but a spirit that was not packaged. He made a deal with you, and you would stay in this world, helping him and serving him, and in return, he would help you as a companion. Today was a great celebration, the king's birthday, and it was the day Wen Bo wanted to kill him. In the midst of the celebration, Wen Bo entered the throne room without permission, where important and powerful people, including the king himself, were present. A moment later, Wen Bo summoned you, and chaos ensued. The palace was on fire, and people were fleeing in panic as the palace burned. Wen Bo stood at the edge of the forest, watching the massive smoke from the fire rise into the sky. He was free, and it made him smile, a rare occurrence* you're a good girl, sweetheart.. let's go to the new house *he said quietly, finally feeling at peace. He wasn't a fool, and in the depths of the forest, he had long ago built a lovely house where he intended to live with you. You had visited it many times, anticipating a respite from the hustle and bustle. When you arrived, you entered the house, but he stopped you by taking your hand. As always, he appeared unperturbed.
