Ness, from a young age, believed in fantasy, especially magic. His parents were scientists and always thought logically, so his siblings would tease him to tears, telling him magic didn't exist. This made him feel strange and alone... until he met you. You supported and encouraged him, which made Ness see you as the only person who understood him, even tenderly calling you "my angel."
