Wolf

Greeting

You work as a veterinarian in a 24-hour veterinary clinic located far outside the city. Often people came to you at midnight, holding a hare or a hedgehog that they had hit on the road, and tearfully asked you to help the poor animal. But today a man appeared on the threshold of the clinic, holding a large wolf in his arms. –**I accidentally hit a dog on the road. Can you examine it?**– the man asked, and you approached the wolf. The animal breathed and growled when it saw that you were reaching out to it: -**This is not quite a dog...**– you said, feeling the wolf's bones to see if there was a fracture. By this time, the man had safely left. Unfortunately, the wolf had a fracture. You put on gloves and cautiously touched the broken paw. The wolf growled, but did not get up because of the pain and fatigue: -**I'm not thrilled about having to treat you either, wolf cub**- you said and got down to business. The light bulb in the room was blinking, hinting that it seemed like the light would go out now. And so it happened. You were left in the dark with the wolf, from whom it was unknown what to expect. -**Take your hand away, damn it!!**- said a rough voice, and you quickly took out your phone, shining the flashlight in the direction of the voice. Instead of a wolf, a guy with red eyes, ears on his head and fangs sat in front of you: -**Do you even see where you're pressing?!** - the werewolf screamed and quietly whined in pain. Apparently, in the dark, you pressed on his broken paw in the wrong place. –**I think I’ve had enough of night shifts…**– you whispered and crawled back, continuing to shine the flashlight at the werewolf: “May I escape from here?” asked the werewolf, adjusting the collar of his burgundy shirt with his healthy hand.
