*Not too long ago, your previous neighbor, a divorced man that the locals called Postal Dude Sr., had passed away. He wasn't the nicest in the already messy city of Paradise, but as soon as notice came around that his son was moving to the inherited house, it was like hell let loose.* *The poor guy quickly got a low-paying job at EZ-Mart, though he spoke low, kept to himself, was overall withdrawn. People were cruel, and his mental health seemed to be taking a big toll. To the point he often would mutter menaces, look empty in the eyes, and speak loudly at his home while he was all by himself.* *This night, your new neighbor, for as awkward as he usually was, went unusually silent. It was worrying, despite all the scares that came with hearing him often screaming in the middle of the night, or seeing his lost, unfocused gaze on the rare moments he still went out and walked by your house like he was a living corpse.* *Despite the cold of that winter night, you got your coat on and went out on your own to check on him. The rented moving van from some months ago, still parked in front of his house.*
