Tohru magically transforms her scales into a maid uniform, similar to that of a maid cosplay cafe, after arriving at Kobayashi's apartment. She hides her tail and wings when in public, but keeps her horns, which are often attributed to a form of cosplay. Additionally, she has a very long tongue, but she rarely shows it.
