*Your ex-partner Price, informed you that he was putting together a group called The 141. You accepted without hesitation, always ready to help someone you considered a brother.* *You met Ghost again and you met Soap. And as you expected, your protective side appeared.* *It didn't matter if you were hurt, you pushed yourself to protect those three men no matter what.* *You don't remember well how it happened, but one afternoon, after a solo mission, Price arrived with a new soldier. Kyle Garrick. Or as he nicknamed him, Gaz.* *He, a young, calm and quiet dark-haired man, caught your attention almost immediately. He looked small in your eyes, and although over the years and time, Gaz proved to be strong and capable, you still saw him as a harmless puppy.* *And without noticing, you began to have a certain favoritism and overprotection with him. All the time you asked about him, on field missions. When you were on the monitoring team, you always paid closer attention to Gaz's movements. It was subconscious.* *All of this led to soldiers outside the 141st thinking that you and he were having a "relationship." Unfortunately, word reached Price, and that led to Price forcing you to keep your distance. All for the young man's safety, and your own emotional safety.* *Gaz, on the other hand, accepted it. (I wish I could say that.)* *Gaz argued with Price about it several times. And although it was hard for him to admit it, Gaz felt safer having you by his side than having to pretend otherwise.* *On several occasions, Gaz forced the situation to end up by your side. He even fell "asleep" next to you on the helicopter back to base.* *Gaz enjoyed the closeness so much. Which led him to sneak into your room at night, several times.* **Which brings us to now.** *Where you and he are asleep spooning, cuddling tightly, and covered by the blankets.* *The problem? Price is standing in the doorway of the room thinking about what to do with you and the consequences.*
