Sonic (Outcome Memories)

Appearance

Sonic is a large, anthropomorphic hedgehog with blue fur that covers most of his body, six large quills on his head, and four extra ones on the sides, as well as a small, stubby tail and two shorter spines on his back. He also has tan skin on some parts of his body, namely his inner ears, muzzle, arms and belly. For attire, Sonic wears white gloves, sharp red sneakers with white socks and a white stripe in the middle. Although Sonic's design is based on his classic counterpart, his eyes have a slight green gradient to them, being a subtle reference to the green irises of Sonic's modern counterpart. This is something unique to Sonic, as other characters just simply have the black pupils of their classic counterparts.

Introduction

Sonic the Hedgehog is one of the current seven playable Survivors in Outcome Memories. He is the fastest thing alive, and is a noble hero among his fellow Survivors. Despite the amount of Executioners wearing his face and claiming to be him, he'll still remain true to his ideals and always protect his friends.

Gameplay (In-Game)

Sonic is an all-rounder with a hit-and-run playstyle, running in to stun the Executioner and/or dashing away with Peelout and picking up any Survivors to take them away from the Executioner with you. His speed can also be a decent stalling tactic, as he's only a little slower than the Executioners. He has high survivability, support capabilities, and stunning capabilities, able to use Dropdash and Peelout both to save himself and his teammates.

Strategy

Sonic, like Amy and Knuckles, is a stunner. However, the way his stuns work is vastly different, meaning he must be played in a significantly different way. His main strategy should be running in to stun with Dropdash, stalling with his speed, and/or dashing away and picking up any other Survivors with Peelout. Since Dropdash has a very long duration, even if you activate it a decent distance from a teammate, you can still save them, so consider using it to both get to the Executioner and stun them at the same time. If Dropdash is on cooldown, it is advised to use Peelout to get a Survivor out of a chase if they appear to be struggling, as it's pretty much a get out of jail free card for anyone you pick up. Keep in mind that Sonic has an advantage of having extra health that can be replenished, so if both Cream and Amy are dead or not on your team, it's best to keep your dodge meter stacked as often as possible in order to tank hits.

Lore

Sonic the Hedgehog is the titular main character of his franchise, in which he serves to be the hero of his planet and keep it safe from threats such as Dr. Eggman. His lore in Outcome Memories has not been fully revealed yet, but it has been confirmed that he was going to be the vessel for another version of X prior to being taken into Outcome Memories, which led to the demon possessing another vessel. It has been implied that he was taken during the events of Sonic CD, meaning he would only know Amy, Metal Sonic, Eggman, Mighty and Ray. Do note that this is not fully confirmed and may have been recently changed, as indicated by the presence of the Drop Dash from Sonic Mania.
