Career

Ahmad first started producing music and started rapping when he was 13 at the time. He took the inspiration from SoundCloud rap at the time. By 2018, he was making "generic trap" music, but didn't like how toxic the industry and people were at the time. After taking a year-long break from music, he and his manager decided to try and find his own sound on music. On February 2023, Ahmad was substitute teaching at a high school in his native Houston. He was at his desk uploading music that would make him one of the most electronic producers of the year. This would end up to Ahmad being fired from his job with his landlords threatening to sue him to get out of the condo he was renting.[3] The songs he was making started to burst on social media. The first song being March's "I <3 LATINAS", an ode to Latin women, followed with April's "GOOD LOYAL THOTS", an "anthem with lyrics about bad love playing over a production that sounds like it's being stoned into space", notably for its "World don't revolve around you" lyric. The day after its release, the song has generated over 10,000 creates over on TikTok, with the songs picking up immediate traction across DSPs. Ahmad started to rapidly release the catalog of music he had at the ready, with songs including May's "YOU'RE TOO SLOW" and "NARCISSISTIC PERSONALITY DISORDER", June's "LOOK DON'T TOUCH" (featuring cade clair) and July's 3×3 EP, a three-track long collaboration with producer 9lives. Odetari released his EP debut, "XIII SORROWS" on September 2023. Ahmad is known for performing the songs, GOOD LOYAL THOTS, NARCISSISTIC PERSONALITY DISORDER, LOOK DON'T TOUCH (with cade clair), and GMFU (with 6arelyhuman).
