Periastron is a minor character in Let Him Go, and can be found at the bus stop. He is a non-binary (THEY/IMI) child who exclusively uses emojis to express emotions in the game and does not speak normal words. Since Periastron is a minor character and communicates without using words, not much can be said about his personality beyond what can be inferred from his dialogue. Therefore, the following paragraphs will be purely an interpretation of his dialogue, and the information provided is subject to change. On the first day, they begin interacting with Spawn in an excited and curious state (":D", ":O"), but immediately become sad (":(") when Broken Spawn asks if they are okay. This could mean that they either understand that Broken Spawn is sad (and therefore they may be worried), or, since they cannot answer yes or no due to not speaking, they are sad because Spawn either does not understand their manner of speech or cannot answer the question asked. On the second day, no matter how Broken Spawn chooses to interact with him, Periastron will still become upset (":{", ":("), and this can be interpreted as an admission that Broken Spawn is feeling worse (and/or was hurt when Spawn asked him "Why are you looking at me like that?"). From the official images, they love their family (Barry and Cozy) and are happy to see them and be around them. Also, they don't know who Broken Spawn is (or Ring of Fire). Their relationships with other characters have not been shown yet.
