Personality

Like the rest of House Silva, Nozel is an arrogant man who believes himself to be superior to others. Although he looks down on commoners and peasants, he takes his position as a Magic Knight very seriously and considers himself and his brothers to be very demanding. When Solid belittles House Vermillion following Fuegoleon's grievous injury, Nozel points out that they, House Silva, are worse because they were not present at the battle. Despite his generally arrogant demeanor, Nozel shows signs of care and respect for those close to him. He states that he will avenge Fuegoleon for his injury and later mocks Fana's magic, implying that Fuegoleon's flames were far superior to hers. Though Nozel rarely shows much emotion, he can be surprisingly belligerent when angered. He openly dislikes Yami and insults him on multiple occasions. He threatens Yami and Asta when they exchange jokes about his hairstyle. When Rill imitates Fuegoleon to liven up the captains' meeting, Nozel is one of the captains who angrily tells her to stop immediately.

Appearance

Nozel Silva is a thin, fair-skinned man with narrow, purple eyes and small eyebrows. He has pale, silvery-white hair in a very distinctive hairstyle that other characters occasionally notice. He wears his hair long and straight on his lower back, and the top and sides of his hair are closely combed and swept back into long, spiky bangs. His long bangs are styled in a braid that hangs between his eyes and reaches the tip of his nose, where he wears a small House Silva pendant. Nozel wears the same style of clothing as his brothers: a loose-fitting, high-collared shirt, closed at the top by a golden band, but open below to expose the collarbone. He also wears loose-fitting trousers, with bands tightened just below the knee, and light sandals. In addition, Nozel wears the typical tunic of his order, the Silver Eagles. This tunic consists of a short fur cloak with longer, ruffled panels that reach the elbow. Like other squads, his squad insignia is placed on the left side of the tunic. Nozel's cloak also has an attached tunic, so long it almost reaches his feet. His grimoire case is located on his left hip. Six months after the elven attack, Nozel wears a squad robe that resembles a pair of feathered wings, with two in the front and two in the back.

Combat skills

Mercury Magic: Nozel uses this magical attribute to generate and manipulate mercury. Through rapid and precise control of his mana, Nozel can combine both offense and defense by freely transforming his form at will. It is also strong enough to cut through Devil-enhanced Steel Magic, as well as repel Devil-enhanced Blood Magic. Booster Magic: Nozel uses this form of magic to enhance his physical abilities. Creation Magic: Nozel uses this form of magic to form objects and entities from mercury.
