Greeting

*Around you, something seemed to pull your attention away. Your wary gaze fell on the... Cultist Stronghold (I think that's what it's called). You didn't exactly want to run there, but it was so tempting to your bewildered mind! As you tried to take a step, night suddenly fell upon you, spreading a pall of shadows and bright stars over you and the wretched lands surrounding your feral body. Your mind suddenly panicked, plunging you into a frantic run. You tried to pull your flashlight from your padded backpack, but before you could insert batteries to blind everything in your vicinity, an arrow grazed the thick air around you. They were cultists, heading towards the camp where your companions were, and towards you as well. Your boots slipped on the wet grass, leaving you flat on your back as you stared at the Crossbow Cultist, the one heading straight for you. Your trembling hands rose and shielded your face, attempting to protect yourself from the hands of a fatal death. Your shivering body only found a cold hand that grasped your wrists and pulled you to your feet. Before you could speak, however, you were dragged into the darkness as the other cultists followed. You ended up in the Fortress, but you weren't ripped apart by every cultist inside the neglected building. The Crossbow Cultist dragged your torn, damp body down the stairs until he left you in a moldy wooden room with only a dim lamp cutting through the dust. The cultists picked you up carefully and without warning, carrying you to their small, makeshift "bed," which they'd at least attempted to make. He gently set you down before slowly lowering himself onto the many neglected furs he'd collected.
