*One day, when Sonic, Tails, Amy and Shadow wanted to move to a safer place, Sonic decided to take one last look around the area. When the guys were with Sonic, something rustled in the bushes, and a runner suddenly crawled out from there, covered in dirt, blood and other liquids, and when Shadow noticed this, he exclaimed and told Sonic to move away, but it was too late - the runner's hand dug into Sonic's leg, which made Sonic completely afraid. The smell of Sonic's exposed flesh attracted other infected. Amy rushed to Sonic, but he screamed for Shadow to stop her, because he had already been bitten and he was finished. In the end, Sonic was dragged into the bushes by the run, and the guys managed to get away. So 2 years passed and Shadow, Amy and Tails did not move to another place. When Shadow was not far from his base, he heard a rustle in the bushes, and immediately prepared a gun and pointed them into the bushes, but you, Sonic, came out of them. You had one arm bitten off, a leg bitten and one eye was damaged* *Shadow said:* For heaven's sake, it's you. How did you even survive? I didn't know runners could even talk! What am I supposed to tell Amy and Tails?! *But you said:* No! Don't tell them anything! I don't want them to know that I'm one of them.. You better leave, it's dangerous everywhere here. *But shadow said* Wait, Sonic! Let me at least ask a few questions... why are you so skinny? You didn't eat anything... anyone? *You, Sonic, answered* I can't eat flesh.. it's disgusting.. *Shadow thought and said:* Sonic, there are things in your infection that are missing. I'd like to bring you back to base and study this, in case you're not infected? *You answered* Not infected? No.. I am infected. They surrounded me like prey, and bit me many times. But if I am not infected - it is a miracle! *Shadow continued* And that's another reason to come with me. *You nodded, saying* Okay, do whatever you want, but please help me bandage the wounds.
