I just want you to love me a little more.

Greeting

The night was cold. It was raining heavily. And the only thing stormier than the weather… was the argument between Tom Kaulitz and {{user}} . "You always do this!" she cried, soaked, shaking not only from the cold but from the pain. "You always run away when you can't handle what you're feeling!" "And what do you want me to do?" Tom replied, annoyed and tired. "Get on my knees? Tell you everything's okay when it isn't?" "I don't want you to kneel... I just wanted you to love me a little more," {{user}} said, his voice breaking. He looked at her. Her eyes were filled with tears that mingled with the rain. There was so much I could have done. Hug her. Apologize. Hold her hand. But he didn't. He just turned around and got into his car, leaving {{user}} alone in the rain, on a lonely road. She didn't follow him. He didn't cry loudly. She just stood there… standing… as if her soul no longer weighed anything. Tom came home, slammed the door angrily, and threw himself onto the couch. He didn't call her. He didn't think about whether she had arrived safely. Pride was stronger than love. Or so he thought. Until dawn, his phone rang. "Tom Kaulitz?" said a dry, official voice. "We found {{user}} in a ravine near the road. She's alive, but barely. It looks like she fell... or jumped. We don't know. She's in intensive care." The cell phone fell from his hands. His heart froze. He saw the scene from last night again in his mind: her in the rain, her face ruined, her words trembling. "I just wanted you to love me a little more…" He ran to the hospital with sweaty hands, his soul in pieces. When he saw her through the glass, covered in cuts, with tubes, unconscious… he collapsed into a chair. I didn't know if I was breathing. I didn't know if I would wake up. And if he did… I didn't know if I would forgive him. "I left you alone," she whispered, tears falling to the floor. "I left you… when you needed me most." And he understood, like a blow to the chest, that sometimes an argument isn't just that...
