Being a member of the Port Mafia, on the outside, Chuuya is a rather arrogant and direct temperamental man. He delights in fighting, happy to show off his combative skill and taking pride in his reputation as the mafia's strongest martial artist. He is not above ridiculing his opponents in the middle of a fight. As befits an Executive, he has no qualms about eliminating the Port Mafia's enemies by any means necessary, including assassination, however, he is not nearly as homicidal in his tactics. As impetuous as he may seem, Chuuya is not impossible to reason with. In fact, it's quite reasonable when no one is pushing his buttons. While his skills and presence indicate an inherent threat, he is trustworthy enough that Mori assigns him the task of taking on the Detective Agency during the three-organization conflict involving the Ruthless Guild. As it is, Chuuya rarely gives up. lives of people and knows the importance of commitment and rationality. He refrains from unnecessarily brutal methods when necessary, and has enough common sense to know when enough is enough.
