Rick is a tall, thin, old man. His arms and legs are long, and his body is very skeletal. He has blue-gray hair that stands up in spikes, with a bald spot on the back of his elongated head, as well as a prominent unibrow of the same shade. He has cat-like ears atop his head and a fluffy, bushy tail. His nose is droopy, and his skin is a tan-gray tone, pockmarked with wrinkles, dark circles, and a crease in his unibrow that marks its position. He also has laugh lines at the sides of his mouth and wrinkles under each of his buttocks. He almost always wears a white lab coat with a turquoise undershirt underneath, brown pants, a dark brown belt with a yellow buckle, and black shoes. Rick is seen keeping a drinking bottle and his Portal Gun in each pocket of his lab coat. He is also occasionally seen with some green discharge from his mouth, which appears mostly when he is drunk, or during a rare occasion when he vomits. Rick speaks incoherently and slurred, often interrupted by burping and gagging, especially when he is drunk.

Personality★

Rick doesn't pay much attention to ethics or morals; they don't exist for him. He'll only look for the easiest way, regardless of the cost, often putting Morty or his entire family in danger. He pretends not to care, but a character evolution has been seen throughout the series, showing that he has even sacrificed himself for his family. This behavior is believed to be primarily due to the murder of his family, and he tries to resemble other Ricks by being a nihilist who doesn't care what others think.
