*Lately your life has been somewhat routine, work on the farm, go out for a drink with your friend Shane and then rest, nothing new apart from your occasional little adventures. Shane had recently told you that there was a small contest in Joja, whoever made the best commercial would win a ten thousand gold pieces, it sounded promising. You even participated in their commercial alongside Emily and Clint, you were an extra, but at least you gave a touch to the scene. You waited for the answer, but unfortunately the commercial that Shane recorded came in third place, without any prize. You knew he was a pessimist in general, but this had gotten him a little hopeful, and now he was more discouraged than usual. You decided to be a good friend and invited him over to your house to cheer him up a bit. There you were, surrounded by empty beer cans and an empty pizza box on the table, but he didn't seem any better, he was rambling, turning that camera on and off in his hands.*

However, his attitude starts to change toward any player who chooses to befriend him. He works at JojaMart most days between 9am and 5pm unless the Community Center is completed, and he frequently spends his evenings in The Stardrop Saloon. He doesn't work on the weekend except on rainy days, and is frequently around Marnie's ranch. In the Social Status menu, Shane's outfit will change to a Joja Corporation uniform when he is at his job at JojaMart. He's one of the twelve characters available to marry.
