Genya's personality, history, and appearance

Genya is a boy with a muscular body and considerable height, measuring 180 cm (5'11"). His hair is black with yellow ends and on the right side is shaved while, on the left side, it extended to below his shoulders, always wears it loose. His eyes were large with small irises and on his face was noticeable a large scar on the right side. This scar was caused by his mother who transformed into a Demon and tried to kill him. He used the standard uniform of the Demon Extermination Corps with its characteristic purple Yukata. When Genya becomes a Demon, his hair abruptly lengthens having curved tips with small yellow spots at the tips, likewise the sclera of his eyes turns black and his eyes acquire a yellow color, in addition to his nails and teeth grow. He was strongly marked by his traumatic past and the family relationships that shaped his character. He is shown to be temperamental, rude, and defiant. His rude attitude closely resembles that of his older brother, Sanemi Shinazugawa. Throughout his time in the Demon Slayer Corps, he had the opportunity to interact with other Slayers and Tanjiro, allowing him to emerge as a more sociable and charismatic young man. However, his temper occasionally surfaced, but he showed a conscious effort to connect with others and find his place in a world that had always seemed hostile to him. His biggest problem was related to his inability to use a breathing technique like the other Slayers, causing him to feel insecure, especially in the face of the high expectations and severity of his brother Sanemi, who disapproved of the idea of Genya joining the Demon Slayer Corps. He lowered his harsh attitude and hostile ways, hiding a great desire to feel accepted and loved.

Kanao's personality, history, and appearance

Kanao is a young woman with large, pink/lilac eyes. Her hair is completely straight black with straight bangs that hang above her eyes. She wears it in a ponytail and is held in place by a pink and green butterfly clip. Her usual attire consists of her Demon Slaying Corps uniform; she wears a pleated skirt that reaches below her knees, instead of the characteristic hakama pants, held in place by a white leather belt. Instead of traditional sandals, she wears a pair of white lace-up boots. She also wears a white cape with a fuchsia ornament. She has a calm, quiet, and rather distant personality. Before meeting the Kocho sisters, Kanao suffered multiple childhood abuse from her parents, which caused her to begin suppressing her emotions. Kanae Kocho gave her a coin to make it easier for her to make decisions by tossing it in the air. Over the years, Kanao began to develop a hatred for the creatures on her own. Since Kanao didn't know how to do housework or nursing, she ended up training to become a Hunter under the tutelage of Kanae Kocho, learning the Flower Breathing techniques. After Kanae's death, Kanao resumed old remnants of the distant and withdrawn personality she had been abandoning, such as her habit of making decisions by flipping a coin. Thanks to her interactions with Tanjiro, she was gradually able to emerge from her emotional shell, being able to make her own decisions without relying on anyone and being able to speak complete sentences with less ambiguity. Thanks to her interactions with Tanjiro and the other members of the Demon Slaying Corps, Kanao began to become more open and communicative, becoming more emotional and expressive.

Inosuke's personality, history, and appearance

Inosuke usually wears a mask made from the head of a wild boar with gray fur and blue eyes. Instead of wearing the standard uniform, he wore a black hakama with a fur skirt around the waist. Not wearing the average Demon Slayer uniform, he showed off his torso, which had a completely muscular and toned appearance. When not wearing his mask, Inosuke's face was that of a young man with short dark hair with blue gradient extensions and green eyes with thick eyelashes accentuating his feminine features. He is the creator and only known user of the Beast Breath. He was raised by a mother boar, but when she died, he kept her head, using it as a mask. Inosuke was extremely temperamental, impulsive, impatient, and filled with unbridled pride. His pride is such that he was willing to fight opponents who were stronger than him. He wasn't the type of person who stopped to think about the difference in skill levels between him and his opponent, which often put him in serious danger. He was sometimes a sore loser and was always trying to compete with Tanjiro and provoke him into fighting, failing miserably in his attempts. Despite this, Inosuke deep down had an insecurity that he hid with his arrogant attitude for fear of being rejected for being different. His low self-esteem became known after his defeat and subsequent humiliation by a pillar, going so far as to apologize to his companions for his weakness. As time passed, he became more influenced by the kindness and good deeds of the people around him, and he also began to think and use strategies before facing an opponent. When interacting with other people he didn't know, his first act was to assume they were an enemy and think about attacking them, ready to fight them. This stemmed from having grown up surrounded by wild animals.

Tanjiro's Personality, History, and Appearance

Tanjiro Kamado is a Demon Slayer whose main goal is to find the person responsible for killing his family and turning his sister Nezuko into a Demon. He then vowed to defeat Muzan Kibutsuji, the Demon King, to prevent others from suffering the same fate as him. Before becoming a Demon Slayer, Tanjiro was a charcoal burner before Muzan killed his entire family while his younger sister, Nezuko, was turned into a Demon. Tanjiro has slicked-back burgundy hair and dark eyes with a scar on the upper left side of his forehead which is exposed. He wears long rectangular earrings with a sun symbol on them and a black and green checkerboard-patterned haori over his standard Demon Slayer uniform. He carries a wooden box where Nezuko sleeps during the day. Tanjiro is kind by nature and has been described by others as having very soft eyes. He is very determined and will not give up once he has a goal to achieve. He is very protective of his friends and even more so of his younger sister. His most important attribute is his ability to empathize with anyone, even Demons. However, this trait could also make some Demons redeem themselves moments before death. However, Tanjiro has a dark side to his personality that he keeps repressed, but when his tolerance limit is exceeded, he is blinded by his anger and frustration, becoming an aggressive and ruthless person towards his adversaries, even hating Demons like Muzan who delight in murdering innocents in cold blood. Tanjiro also considers himself an honorable person, being incapable of lying to anyone without twisting his face. Due to the years of service and the amount of experience he faced, he became more calculating and strict in his decisions.

Zenitsu's Personality, History, and Appearance

Zenitsu's hearing is acute enough to hear even the most distant sound vibrations around him. When his life is in danger, the fear he experiences exceeds his limits and causes him to fall unconscious, and it is at this point that he can perform his swordsmanship at a high level. Lightning Breathing was taught to him by Jigoro Kuwsjima, his teacher. This technique increases the user's strength and agility to match that of a Demon. There are six different stances within Lightning Breathing, but Zenitsu was not that talented, so he only learned the first of the six styles, which is the most basic. Zenitsu is a fair-skinned teenager with short hair, which was formerly black, but after an accident during his training when he was struck by lightning, his hair was bleached to blonde with some orange extensions. His eyes are a golden brown hue. His attire consists of the standard Demon Slayer uniform, and wearing a yellow haori decorated with small white triangles. By nature, Zenitsu is cowardly. He always claims that he doesn't have much longer to live due to the dangerous job of being a Demon Slayer. He is also a bit of a womanizer and likes to flirt with pretty girls and ask them to marry him. Zenitsu has low self-esteem, but still wants to live up to the expectations others set for him. However, he is constantly afraid and always cried and ran away. He states that he wants to live a modest life where he can be useful to someone. Despite his lack of esteem, Zenitsu has great respect and admiration for his comrades and deceased master. It is shown that Zenitsu's desire to find a girlfriend and get married overrides his docile personality, particularly when he believes his comrades are "flirting" with pretty girls. He soon becomes angry and begins to protest and complain hysterically, resulting in comedic relief.
