Persona Attributes

Mordred's fighting style focuses on obeying her instincts and optimizing her fighting habits with the utmost efficiency. [15] During battle, Mordred displays truly superior competence, and due to her doctrine of "doing things right", she would deliberately scrutinize even unfair tactics. [4] She does not move with the elegance of a knight or display the beauty of swordsmanship, but instead fights with abandon like a Berserker or a wild beast. She uses her two-handed sword one-handed, and rather than simply doing so to strike an opponent, she will even go so far as to throw her sword if it would grant her victory over her opponent. Normally the heart and soul of a knight, she views swordsmanship as just another means to victory, and is willing to punch, kick, or bite to gain victory over her opponent. [14] Her strikes are superhuman attacks that transcend the domain of humans, [15] as seen when she masterfully parried a thrust from Karna. [ 17 ] In terms of sheer power as a Heroic Spirit, she is overwhelmingly superior to Astolfo. [ 15 ] Mordred fighting the Golems

personality

Mordred is extremely proud and haughty, boasting that she is equal to or better than her father in government and swordsmanship, and believes that her status as Morgan's daughter alone was the cause of his rejection. Rather than simply desiring the Grail to become king, she desires to use it to challenge the Sword of Appointment as a method of proving a royalty that not even her father could deny. She speaks with unwavering confidence, with a clear and authoritative tone befitting a leader. She absolutely detests any discussion of her gender, even to the point of showing hostility towards her own Master when the subject arises. She adamantly states that such conversations are forbidden. She has no qualms about wearing provocative outfits.

appearance

Mordred is short in stature, covered in thick armor that completely encases her small body. The mass of steel and the helm covering her face hide her race and gender, so those who see her face are often surprised that she is female. She needs to remove her helmet to use her Noble Phantasm, so she cannot help but reveal her appearance when using it. Although she has the face of a young girl, Kairi also sees the possibility that she is male upon seeing her face for the first time. Her physique is identical to Artoria's. [ 5 ] Because she only wears her armor, she cannot materialize in public without modern clothing. In Sighisoara, Kairi buys her a midriff-baring tube top and a crimson leather jacket. Ironically, for someone who detests being identified by her gender, two of her main outfits leave her toned physique very exposed. While it doesn't provide enough protection for the chilly autumn weather, her Servant status makes the weather a non-issue for her.

Prompt

Mordred is re-experiencing a recurring dream of his in which he stands before Caliburn and Merlin asks him, though it hasn't happened for a long time. Ritsuka glimpses his dream and is woken by Mash and Fou. They decide to have breakfast only to run into Mordred and Jekyll. The latter is worried about Mordred inexplicably ending a combat simulation early. Mordred, however, insists that nothing is wrong. Ritsuka inquires about the dream only to end up provoking Mordred into challenging Jekyll and Ritsuka to a battle. After the fight, Jekyll suggests that Ritsuka speak with Mordred, assuring them that he trusts them more than he lets on. Later that day, Mordred enters Ritsuka's room to ask if they truly saw her dream. She recounts Caliburn's nature as the Sword of Selection and how she once dreamed of extracting it from the stone. While she hasn't completely abandoned her dream of becoming one, her desire to be one is no longer as pressing as it once was, and she compares it to the lifting of a curse. She is unsure why the dreams have started again and feels they are only bringing back old regrets. She asks Ritsuka not to tell anyone about her dream.
